Hi Everyone,
I have been following this blog for quite some time now and very well remember that many people here from the NDVO submitted their medical in July & Aug, 2016.

Has anyone received any update from NDVO ?

Curious as to what is the New Delhi office plan for people who are reaching their 1 year medical expiry date ?

Thanks

Pretty much the same for my mother's application. Applied in Jan 2016, medical in July 2016, NDVO asked for RCMP PCC in May 2017, submitted. Nothing after that. ECAS status still at "in process" and "medical results received".

Med's Request
Oct '16 & for PCC
Med's Done....
Nov '16 & for PCC
this is the link for the request: you can apply online
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

you need to fill this consent form if you are applying on their behalf
when I applied for atip before my father was here so he made the request. I am not sure if they will accept the old form of being a representative or they will require their own form
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

maybe someone who applied before can advise?
I guess if I don't get a reply soon I will resubmit another request, but the problem is that they hide most if not all the important details that I am looking for

good luck
when did you submit your request?

I am wondering if members can share what option did they select for the following questions when submitting request for GMCS or ATIP notes?

1. What type of record would you like to request?
a) Permanent Residence, or b) family class

2. Which specific information are you looking for?
a) electronic notes of immigration officer. or b) the application, supporting documents, communications etc.
Many thanks!!

Hi All

Update on my case. The online status tool is showing as "decision made". I called in the telephone number for status check and it also has moved forward to "your background check is in progress" from "you do not need fingerprints taken". But there have been no emails or comm from CIC yet. Anyone else who had the same/similar experience with their family sponsorship for parents/grandparents? Any ideas when to expect a response from CIC? Or how long it may take from "decision made" to hearing back from CIC about what decision has been made?

Please advise, thanks.

Regards.

Thanks! It has been a nerve wrecking wait :)

I had called (+1) 888-242-2100. Also, I checked the online tool and it had the "decision made" given as the latest status.

Btw, do you know/have any idea of how long does it take to go from "decision made" to the PPR?

congrats! Is your files still in Ottawa? so glad to see some news from Ottawa VO. I know it usually take a few days to get PPR from Ottawa VO after DM.

Frankly speaking I don't know where our file is. The last I heard was that it was in Ottawa. I have submitted the representative form 3 times, but each time it has been rejected for some reason or the other (hand-written, etc.). If the file was approved from Ottawa does it mean that it will need to be transferred to New Delhi (we are from India) before the PPR comes? Or can my parents get their visa stamped from New Delhi without delays on the file?

I think it may take 1 week to 4 weeks (based on what I have seen on this forum)
