Not answering you, just had a question. Is there any reason you chose to submit it way early instead of waiting 85 days or so?
I don't understand what you mean with waiting 85 days
We submitted all our documents to CIC and we were supposed to be all set and the next step would be wait 4-6 months to get an answer when everything was ok, we were told just a few days ago that we needed to submit our FBI certificates before September 10th even though we sent a LOE with copy of the application, proof of payment and etc. Our representatives said that we need to notify them 2 weeks before the deadline in order to take further action (hopefully get an extension). As I said in my first post, it would be a shame if CIC rejects an application just for missing one paper even though you sent a LOE regarding this, specially when you have invested a lot of time and money to get to your goal, i.e, your canadian PR

I thought, one has to submit the application only upon complete documentation or just before wait time ( 3 months ), thats why i said 85 days to be safe. In your case, it would have been around Sep 1st week. So i was curious about your early submission.

Hi guys,

I have a question. I made a very innocent and silly mistake in my application to get the FBI checks. On the fingerprint card, it says that I need to use a black ink pen to fill in. However since I have a bit problem with my vision color and I thought my favorite pen was black while in fact it is red ink!! I accidentally found this out today as someone told me not to use a red pen for writing. I sent my first application to the FBI on June 6. Then I got worried that my fingerprints were not clear enough so I sent in another application on June 16. In the second application, I had to fill out the details at the fingerprint office using their pen so I assumed a black pen was used. I'm not 100% sure though.

What do you think? Will the FBI likely reject my first application?

Thanks guys.

Hello,

I so hate the FBI checks. They are so inefficient! A piece of paper that takes 12 weeks to process.

My application deadline is August 30. I will most likely have everything ready by then except for the FBI Checks. I know CIC will not grant you an extension to submit your application. So by the deadline, I will submit everything I have and explain that the FBI check is not ready and I did everything I could to expedite the process (applied to the FBI within first week of receiving ITA). My understanding is CIC will grant an extension so you can submit your FBI check later. Is this what your representative is telling you?

I was not even in the US for that long. I was there a total of 6 months and 2 weeks in my three trips.

Thanks.

It seems you are in the same situation as us.
We have a deadline on September 10th to submit the FBI certificate, otherwise they will proceed to review our application with everything we had submitted (this includes a LOE attaching copy of the application, proof of payment, waybill, etc), and depending on the case, it MIGHT be refused. Our representatives said "follow up with FBI the status and let us know 2 weeks before deadline in order to take further actions, we hope that means an extension from CIC to submit these certifificates.

I just called them now to inquire about my finger prints and the agent told me my fingers were processed few minutes ago. She also mentioned they will mail them out on Wednesday. Time they took to validate my finger prints is 78 days

Application Delivery Date: 1st - May
CC Date: 12th July 2017

Hey everyone,
I am new here.
I sent my FBI US Police certificate documents on April 25th from Pakistan. They were finally delivered on June 30th.
In the meantime I had submitted my application with the LOE on June 23rd.
Today I called FBI to confirm if they have received it and the representative had no record in her system.
She did say that they have received it in the processing roomand I should check back on Wednesday.
Should I be worried?
In any case this is taking too long. I don't know how it will affect my application.

Was the delivery date april 30th and not june 30th?
also your question seems to be not clear. You say they have no record in the system but have it in the room and check back on wednesday?
The Tracking system shows June 30th. I was surprised myself which means that it took 2 months for the packet to just get delivered!
She first checked my name and said that it wasn't there in the system.
Then I gave her the tracking number and she said yes it shows it was delivered but its not her records. So she would have to check and I should call on Wednesday
