Ohh hope you are better now.
Thank you so much for the reply, i did the same. The vfs person told me 15 days so just wanted to know from you. thank you telling.
Take care. Get well soon my friend, lots of packing to do:)
Any idea how to deal with multiple passports? It says one envelope per passport. Does it mean one envelope per applicant or one envelope per applicant per passport? I am a single applicant with multiple passports (old and new). Do i have to submit my old passport as well? It's stapled with my new one.

Nice observation :)
I have not yet either called, emailed them, given additional docs or anything. But randomly it went from "We are reviewing the additional docs" to "We do not need any" yesterday. My BG is still NA and I am 90 days post AOR. I don't know if IP2 will come about soon or what exactly is going on lol. Mysterious CIC :p
I emailed CPC last night though, so hopefully I should get some sort of update other than these vaguely cryptic ones so far.

We don't need doesn't happen that randomly for everyone. Hope for ip2 real soon!

Yeah I read that too. I am single and had only one passport so had no issue.
Though it clearly states, " a separate envelope is required for each passport", so i think you will have to get an envelope each for every passport but am not sure. Better ask someone with same issue.
To be sure go to or call VFS they are very helpful and will guide you correctly.

No idea. I think you should call Vfs and ask. Though i think so it should not be needed.

Ok guys, here is an update from my end. First piece of advice, try and avoid calling them. I don't think they like it very much. Technically, it's a call center and its not that we are disturbing any VO officer and they are bound to answer a query but going by my experience today, I don't think it works that way!

So I call them up since I am on day 98 and I am still on NA and get this agent on the phone and the first thing this curt, borderline rude agent asks me is when I called last? I said i called about 3 weeks back. He asked me, what I was told last time? I said I was told my application is in background check. He then verifies my name, phone number and email and then asks me what I want to know? I said, I want to know the status of my application and if I have passed eligibility.

  • He puts me on hold and then comes back after a minute and says my criminality and medical has passed.
  • They are yet to do my eligibility and security.

So I was like, its day 98 and would you know why its delayed so much? He doesnt know.
I asked him which visa office is my case being processed? He says its at CIO Sydney.

I asked him, wow, its day 98. Will it take a long time then at this pace?
Killer Answer in Rude and Curt manner - Yes, it will take a long time!

Gulp.

I think I am going to forget about this and no more calls! Let it come when it has to come!

It totally depends who is gonna land on your call, this was a misfortune, sorry you had to had this experience, they are obviously under pressure especially call center is in Ottawa. Some are the nicest ever or so I ve read. Wow, eligibility not done yet, well it goes along with the NA part but still, some peoples GCMS notes showing eligibility passed right after Medical while on NA just says its a matter of luck (and the country of residence obviously). Hang on and keep with the tracker, under 120 days u said, let it be!

I believe that processing times depend a lot on country of residency
