I, same as you, also had once a long time interval when I had not logged into my job bank account even a single time.
Due to this, I got an email from job bank that you haven't logged in to your account for a very long time. To keep it active and operative, please log in to your account. It allowed me 7 days to do so. I did it at once, that's it. It's active at present.
However, IRCC has announced on June 6th, along with other changes in CRS that job bank registration is not mandatory for applicants. It means it's optional now. But, to be on safe side, I've bookmarked job bank log in webpage and I regularly log in to it.
Better to be safe than sorry!

Please tell me what is the BG status for IP2?
If it's IP2, the BGS will be, "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Got the RPRF request on July 5th, paid the fee and uploaded the receipt on the same day but no change in "reviewing your additional documents" since then..
I hope my IP2 comes soon
