Question about background check

What is average time to wait for background check to start for Americans? I got aor2 third week of May and have heard nothing since besides med request

I am from the states and my wife had lived in Canada her whole life. Pretty straight forward I would think

Judging by what I have read is it not uncommon to wait 6 (almost 7) weeks for my background check to start?

I have been watching the spreadsheet and my app seems to be way behind others. Some people wait like 6-8 days before the background check starts.

That is how I thought it should be. Not waiting since mid may just for it to start. CIC giving me anxiety lol.

It could have started, it's not just being reflected on CIC account. You may order notes to be certain.

The GCKEY hasn't been that reliable lately. Your notes would be a bit more accurate.

You would think they do, but most often than not, they do not update it on time.

Tell me about it. Sometimes they would just update it once they are done. I don't know, they're very unreliable and unpredictable.
