Spousal sponsorship soon after becoming a PR

Hi all,

My application for permanent residency was just approved and I recently received my passport. I will be leaving in the next couple of weeks. Prior to my ITA, I had plans to get married in December of this year. I intend to return to my country and marry my fiancé at that time. Will this be a problem since I am a new PR and also how soon after our marriage would I be able to sponsor my spouse?

No, it will not be a problem. You can sponsor your spouse as soon as you have all of the forms/documents.
