FBI will post the Check summary (PCC) vis first class mail. Within continental US, it takes 7-10 days, depending on where you are located. The FBI CJIS centre is in West Virginia, if you are located on the East Coast, you may receive the PCC within 2-4 days.

However, if you are in India, it will take almost month, and even longer in some cases. The best would be to give a local address in the US. They can open the document, scan it and send it to you. and mail the original by fedex.
Damage is done. Gave india address and FBI has posted it by US First class mail about 2 weeks back. But haven't received it yet :(

I am going with double degree this is what making My score 450.

Only concern is with distance education I should use full time degree or part time degree.

Because I was working while studying.
I don't think there is an option for part time in the online form. Just go with what the ECA says.

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I received my notes today.
ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

Program Assistant APPLICATION: ...................REGULATION: FSW I have reviewed this
application based upon the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file and
note the following. MIN Score: 447 - ITA Score: 456 PRINCIPAL APPLICANT APPLICATION PROMOTED: Existing UCI

So I passed Criminality and medicals. These notes were generated on 26.06.2017 and I am 1st April AOR. My status is NA for more than a month now.
So my questions are:
1. What are other specific places within the notes that I need to see for important information?
2. When will be a good idea to order another set of notes?
3. Based on my timeline, what may be happening with my eligibility and security (people with AOR after me have started receiving PPR)?

Thanking you in advance.

No need to be concerned at all. Each application is different and having prior rejections does not necessarily increase processing times, although it will need extra scrutiny to ensure that the rejection was not for a reason which would make a person inadmissible for entry to Canada.

You can check my detailed post on BGC http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/the-anatomy-of-a-background-check-in-depth-analysis.500146/

Hi legalfalcon,
During eligibility review process, for some reason the officer does not satisfy with the job reference letter or not satisfy with the experience letter, will they reject application or deduct the points? And if deduction of points won't effect the total score received will that case still be rejected?
Thanks

This is something you have to decide. I can only tell you what the law is not what you should be doing. Some applicants get through, some have issues. It won't be a bad idea to wait for another 4 weeks and re-create your profile. This way you will be all legal and stress free.

See the last few pages, that is where the agent notes are. You will se a R10 note. There will be more notes as your application progresses. Soon you will see a note stating that the eligibility is recommended passed, then it will change to passed and there will be another corresponding note, so on and so forth.

2. When will be a good idea to order another set of notes?
If your notes were generated on June 26, then give it another 2 - 3 weeks and apply. By then you should see some progress.

3. Based on my timeline, what may be happening with my eligibility and security (people with AOR after me have started receiving PPR)?
Your eligibility has started, but the status has not been updated. Soon you will see the status updates. Only when the eligibility is cleared, will your application go to BGC.

Thanking you in advance.

For the Canada experience letter ( CEC Inland ), One of my employees has only specified the ‘base’ salary, but I do have all my paystubs which show what I was drawing here with other components. Would it suffice as supporting document to prove my salary?

w.r.t T4, I've got the same for all the years I was in CA and NOA, but a component in my Salary is per diem which is not accounted for in T4, so the number in T4 is less. I have the mail conversation with the employer who gave an explanation that the Per diem part is not in T4 as its ‘non-taxable’ apparently, but I was hoping not to write LOE for this and bring in confusion if the salary slips are sufficient.

Also wondering if CIC would reach back to me if they think the salary slips are not sufficient and ask for T4 ? In which case, I can probably get a Tax consultant assess and give the right laws/rules under which the per diem exceptions are handled which I can include in the Updated LOE along with T4.

Can you please share your suggestion @legalfalcon

Thanks much in advance!

First, they will exclude your job reference and see if your cRS score is high enough. At the same time they will also see if there was misrepresentation. At the end it depends on the agent reviewing your application.

In most cases, is the IRCC agent is not satisfied, the application is rejected.

YEs, as a CEC applicant you have to add your pay stubs. As per IRCC:

If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years.

So you may include T4s and tax assessment.

w.r.t T4, I've got the same for all the years I was in CA and NOA, but a component in my Salary is per diem which is not accounted for in T4, so the number in T4 is less. I have the mail conversation with the employer who gave an explanation that the Per diem part is not in T4 as its ‘non-taxable’ apparently, but I was hoping not to write LOE for this and bring in confusion if the salary slips are sufficient.

You should write a LoE, so that the discrepancy can be addressed and also add the email conversation, to be on the safer side. However, you don't have to necessarily add a LoE as with the job reference letter and T4s, you are good and it would be sufficient. Since I don't have the documents in front of me, but if the discrepancy is apparent, you should include LoE, but if its a minor issue, you can exclude it.

Also wondering if CIC would reach back to me if they think the salary slips are not sufficient and ask for T4 ? In which case, I can probably get a Tax consultant assess and give the right laws/rules under which the per diem exceptions are handled which I can include in the Updated LOE along with T4.

In most cases they do, but it is always better to submit all the document with with the application. You never know who is evaluating your application and what conclusion the agent reaches. And having all documents in with the application will also reduce the processing times.

Can you please share your suggestion @legalfalcon

Thanks much in advance!

Hi Legal falcon,

Due to some inconsistencies in my application which I was not comfortable with, I withdrew the application a week after submission. To date, the application is still processing. Medicals were passed last week, it went to IP1 same day and today it changed to "we are processing your BGC". What do I make of this? I have called severally to ask of the status of the application and was told they are processing the withdrawal.

Unfortunately, the process is slow and it takes time. But, you need not worry, your application will be withdrawn soon. Just send another CSE as a reminder and it won't be a bad idea to send an email giving reference of the withdrawal you already made.

Hey 'Legalfalcon'

A quick question which is confusing me. I have seen people from same country with same LVO but different AOR dates but some people with later AOR dates are getting their files processed quicker than those with earlier AORS. Why is this the case?

e.g. A person with AOR of 31st of March 2017 is at NA after IP1 (getting medical passed earlier and IP1 as well than the later applicant), whereas another fellow with AOR of 6th of April 2017 is at IP2 (getting medical passed later than the prior applicant as well as IP1 went in progress later).

Both are from same country with same LVO and both are FSW-O.

I have written this before that IP1 and IP2 is mere speculation based on status change, which some people on the forum propagated and it has no relevance except so anecdotal evidence.

Each application is processed through some stages, which I have discussed in posts shared at a lot of places. The stages are R10(Completeness check) - Eligibility - Criminality - BGC

Now based on each application, which will have different work experiences, number of dependants, countries travelled and the human factor as in which agent is processing it, will determine who fast the application is processed. Just comparing applications with AoR date is completely wrong as each application will differ on the above factors.

To give you a few examples:

2 applicants file the application on the same date, both FSW-O. However, one of them is not married and the send one has a family with spouse and 2 kids. Do you thing they will be processed at the same pace.

Now consider, 2 applicants file the application on the same date, both FSW-O. However, one of them has an extensive travel history and with a few visa rejections, the other has never stepped foot outside his country of residence. It will need different processing times.

I can go on with examples and factors which will delay the processing. As long as your application is progress, going through different stages and you are monitoring it through GCMS and taking corrective action when required, you need not worry.
