Sure, having spent 5 years in Canada (3 studying, 2 working - thus, paying taxes), and completely nudged into the culture by this time, I don't deserve a PR over a random outland with 413 CRS who never knew before what Canada actually is.

Nice logic, bro!
Ha ha ha. I've been called many things before but never a "random outland" :p

I hope you didn't mean it as an insult because I'm liking the sound of it :p

Why? Because he's studied there, so have I. Because he's worked there and paid taxes, so have I.

Because he's younger and we now have the EE scheme in place and not the previous one that took 5 to 10 years to process applicants, that's not something you 'deserve', that's luck.
Wait...you have top language score for EE purpose, studied, worked here. Where does that loss of score come form? Age?

That's what I am saying. 1 ita doesn't mean 1 pr. It's more than 1 pr or more than 1 immigrant. So even if 20-30% gets declined, still immigrants are more to compensate
From where are you getting the data of 20-30% ITA decline?
What is the number of ITAs getting converted to more than 1 PR?
What is the number of applications getting refused/withdrawn/rejected?
Does ITA issued in Dec 2016, count towards quota of 2016 or 2017?

So many open questions are there with no data to back any conclusion, hence it is just speculation that ITA quota is over or has met the target of 2017.

And I agree! But then again, CIC <> logic.

Edit: And we're not in the business of helping everyone here. Europe is already paying for this...
another point you may note is that you feel so upset just being there on a student visa and the generosity of an extended work visa...;)...you want to judge the govt on their policies fairness...
If real Canadians also took such a rigid stand, may be the liberals won't be running office and helping you have a go at the dream...
--
and I really didn't get about 'helping everyone' part...
as far as I understand the Canadian govt treats everyone impartially....and they look at the underprivileged with more consideration...
--
and on competency terms having a candian degree or experience do not have much advantage to offer...and that is why the addl points are termed 'adaptability factors'....
anyway it's all a win win...anybody can have their own opinion...so be free to judge the cic logic...but please note that by the same standards, the arguments of those opposing the immigration policy has more ground...the Canadian citizens born and brought up there, some of whom aren't so happy about the outsiders being let in...;).

There is a chance for everyone in the pool. Its a matter of chance bro. it is not your right...you have to understand that! Lets all be hopeful for an ITA. Everyone deserves a chance to be in Canada whether inland or outland! Peace

Hey guys I submitted my OINP application on July 9th and just had a question. Under the work history section it asks for company name, city, and country. For one of my experiences I was working in Ottawa but my employer was based in Toronto. However, I put Ottawa as the city and country for this experience instead of the company's location because I was working in Ottawa. Will this cause any issues in my application? Thanks
I also want answer to this question if someone could answer.
