Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Folks!

I need some help regarding claiming points for work experience. I have worked from July 2012 to May 2014(22 months) under job code 4163 as a market researcher/consultant. Post that I went for my masters from June 2014 to Feb 2016. i started working again in June 2016 and my current job duties match with both NOC 4163 and 1123. I do not want to screw up my application due to the overlap by claiming points for 3 years work ex.
Is it okay if I just claim points for my earlier work ex under NOC 4163 for 1 year work ex? I will manage somewhere between 444 and 456 depending on my IELTS result (due on 21st June)

Further, I do not wish to inform my current employer about the process. I can download an employment letter from our internal portal but will not list my job responsibilities. I guess it is required to show the current employment.
One of my friend has similar situation and he called CIC regarding this as my friend has 2 different NOC's but under same category. So CIC guys mentioned that as long as your work experience is under same category ( either O A and so on), you can claim points for that.

No, since you didn't apply.
Okay. because I was just in the pool and I got ITA doesn't mean I applied for EE , unless I would have submitted all of my documents rather than declining it right?

Thanks for your reply mate :)

Hello ppl
Im following all ray of hope since 65 and actually i dont know where crs point is going. I have a different question and i hope if any one can help me to clarify it, when i was calculating my points through crs tool there is optional for married people if there families will accompany them or no when i chose no they calcuate my points as single which lead me to 424. My question is can I continue in the process without my family and after i go to canada i can sponser them, however i will mention them but as they will not come with me. Please if any one can clarify this for me i would be grateful thanks.

That's right. I got ITA 2 times before. But my IELTS expired. So my answer too has to be 'No' as the application never went for processing.

Yes, that should be fine. In my situation as well, I am married but filing with non-accompanying spouse. I will settle down first and will invite my spouse sooner or later.

Yes you can 100% do this.

However you just need to be aware that the spousal visa can take quite a long time.

What's your CRS if your spouse joins you?

Check the note in blue at the top of this page
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

[Note: If your spouse or partner is not coming with you to Canada, or they are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you will earn points as if you don’t have a spouse or partner.]

My immigration consultant has submitted my profile last night and says it takes up to 24 hours to reflect in the system and receive a mail confirmation. Has anyone gotten the confirmation sooner?

Would I be eligible for the draw tomorrow?

I got my confirmation in a few minutes.

There was maintenance yesterday which some people believe was the CIC pulling the people for the draw. No one knows for sure.

What's your CRS?
