Hi!

Thanks so much for all the information on this thread! Something I didn't find though, is that I mistankenly created my profile last week thinking I would still have the 6 months to send the application, while now I have only less than 10 days. I received a NOI on my EE profile and wanted to apply for Human Capital Priorities.

What happens if the 14 days I have to send the application expire? Will I be able to create a new profile? Or do I lose my NOI?

Hi OINP gurus,
Do we suppose to get the AOR in email when OINP receives WES ECA duplicate report?

After receiving OINP, do we have 6 months to accept or 45 days? And if we are unable to submit the application in 14 days can we make an account again after it expires?

Thanks mohdater, but won't they ask for it when i am applying? This was the response of wandering mind when i asked the question earlier...
It isn't compulsory anymore but when you register on the OINP e-filing website, you'll be asked to provide your job bank code along with your Express entry profile number.

Good luck.
yes they do but that number is in your cic account where they have the express entry number as well as job bank code

Mine changed to assessment a day after I submitted but haven't seen anything after that.
Yeah that was probably automated to prevent you from requesting a refund to give the appearance that your processing has begun.

Yes, but will not consider it as a tie with Ontario. Also, your point without these relatives scores should still be above 67 Skilled points (if you are claiming 5 points for the relative). Last time there was a shocking case where OINP rejected these 5 points of relatives (outside Ontario) and said you don't meet 67 point skill test. His application was rejected on this ground but it was still a rare case.

I hope you will be fine but be prepared to tackle such questions raised by OINP. Good Luck!
I would find that strange and borderline misleading for them to reject 5 points given their own provincial requirements. Furthermore, family ties does not directly or indirectly mean you will adapt better especially when you are an adult with your own children. Their statement didn't mention ties in Ontario. It mentioned that you had family in Canada. My family can be in Nunavut today and move to another province by the end of this month. If this has another meaning, then the province needs to update their requirements and explicitly state it like the other nominee applications. I say, give the lady/man her/his points and get on with it.:D I just hope that CIC doesn't become sloppy like the US during these immigration processes.

"Relatives in Canada

You or your spouse or common-law partner have a relative who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada aged 18 or over. The relative can be a parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew."
