I called them. The agent told me that "It's impossible, I don't have access to your file, you can send an email with CIC webform, but as you are under 13 months of delay, it's okay" (xcuse me but no it's not "okay" 4 months without an email, nothing, I don't call it "okay") I think the only thing about he throught was " she couldn't just stay away from her phone?" because he was a little bit rude with me.

So I sent an email to ottawa office with a question. My email: " could you tell me if I need to...." my throught: "could you tell me when you think to give me my RP and others RP? because you don't seem to move your a***" but as, I'm polite, I just finished my email with "thank you very much for your time"

i can hear you ... hmm so that means they will not even entertain us if we are under 13 months benchmark... some one told me that even MP's cannot help us if we are under 13 months bench mark ..:-(((

It's probably depend how agent is interested or not. I'm not sur the man was really preoccupied by my case. It was more like "yeah yeah" but I'm pretty sur they can check in our file if they want. Obviously he didn't want to.

They don't reply for delai question except if it's urgent. So I just ask a simple question about something. It can take 20 days to have an answer so I should wait but I writed "urgent" in front of.

I'll you know if I have more informations.

It looks like last year, yes. But I'm curious to know why? Why do they freeze during 5 months? Any explanation?

I may have an answer: I think immigration quotas are almost full so CIC freeze until October-November to respect his plan "our quotas will be closed at the ending of civil year)

They plan 172,500 economic permanent resident like us. Many PR has accepted in earlier 6 months as outland and inland.

Hi, everyone.

Let's not lose our heads. We are all having a hard time dealing with this long wait. I agree, sometimes some members (myself included), we post content that is kind of depressing and the negativity has not helped.... but it is also true that we are all facing different situations and we can't really blame anyone in particular for being anxious and worried and wanting answers.

So let's all breathe and try to deal with the latest facts. We were all expecting news to come pouring in after Canada day. Calling IRCC has never been particularly useful (in my experience), it will be mostly like Kikou said... as long as your file is within the 13 months processing time, they won't do anything.

For those wanting to go to the office, save your time and money, it is not open to the public.

I think the most likely scenario is that work slowed down because of the vacation period, maybe by mid-july we'll get more info.

I know it is hard, i sometimes want to just scream in frustration too, but in my opinion, this kind of forums are actually what keep me sane: knowing we are all going through the same thing.

So, yes, it has been a rough couple of weeks, but we'll pull through together.

Even i am now in my 14th month since application & still waiting for PPR

You are just inches away from your Goal dear. The Hard Waiting time has just passed away . Any time you can get the Good news . I think you are on the Top of the list in NDVO because I don't know anybody else with the same time line as you.

I think you are correct in the sense that quota might have full ... reason being we all are part of Quebec immigration which has annual cap of 10,000 ( last year number) .... lets see coming days will validate this hypothesis...

Could you share the reference? Maybe we are talking about different things, but I was under the impression that the 10,000 was the quota for the CSQs granted through the skilled worker category (not PEQ or investor or whatever)

From my understanding the actual target for quebec immigration is closer to 30,000.....

Still... if they are now talking about close to 300,000 per year for all programs (not just quebec)...it would no make sense to stop granting PR by the middle of the year... right??
