Some traction has happened on people's application like medical passed, so it is possible though unlikely. I have been on your background check is in progress, we will send you a message once we start background check for a while now. So I am guessing May applicants have hit a road block. Possibly the faster medical pass is being met by slow IP1 process. Who knows?
Thanks for your reply dear.
People who's AoR are far later then me have got IP1 and again NA within interval of 2 days, so i don't think this is a road block, its different for everyone though, some applicants like yourself are in IP1 longer then others even upto 2 weeks, some like me never get IP1(or miss it) and straight to IP2 or even PPR. There is nothing hard and fast, my question was that maybe I missed my update due to weekend, and that's what i wanted to know that whether they update files on weekends or not. Stay positive CIC is going fast for May AORs also, each case is different though.

Yes he can and we all can. You are not informed well in this regard.

I think we have our abbreviations all tangled in a bunch now. By VO, I mean Verification Officer not Visa Office. The individual behind the status changes to your application.

Yeah you are right, no hard or fast rule. Kicking back at this stage and can't be bothered anymore. No sense in worrying. If it happens it happens. Life will always go on. My Background check was Not Applicable at the same instance as my medical passed. Then in the morning, your application is in progress, we will send you a message once we start background check. It is now 7 days on that annoying status. So whatever stage that is meant to be I will know one day.

I ordered mine too few days back, how many days after aor did you order?

Hey did you get email response from cpc id for your query? I wrote to them today and they mentioned to me that it's in cpc Ottawa office. Last time they mentioned that it was in centralized intake office. I asked for status and visa office. For status they just mentioned that the application is being processed under normal timelines, and officer would reach me if anything else is required.
