hmm ya ..i know there are lot of strings attached for most of people who are here waiting for that golden email-- and i think most of us are 'almost there" it's those last 2 miles (read delays) .....anyways we can only wait .. but i must admit this forum and people here are great source of information ,encouragement ,guidance and help (and humor like people contemplating to join IRCC;-) ) .... good to see people helping ,encouraging others ...
Yeah means i was just trying to filter out possible causes of delays ..travel was one of the differentiator .. rest all of us have followed same steps...so that's my guess...

You forgot the agent: some of them are pretty slow or fast, some take vacancies, etc.
I can't understand that why all people compare with the FSW guys whereas they've different criteria to apply different deadline for the completion of the application along with this they haven't signed any document in which they have mentioned where is intended to reside in particular area /territory for a specific time period . Whereas we have been selected by Quebec province .
I think you people(inland) are still lucky enough because you already are in Canada you have already adopted the culture/atmosphere/weather conditions of Canada. Most importantly you people already have job in your hands.Whereas we are still looking for a Dream that A Golden day will come & We will land in Canada with our families & will start a new life there.
Please don't mind if am saying this because these kind of words/desperation from inland applicants somewhere trouble/demotivate we people (outland applicants )
As for me I have started the entire process (Learning french) in Nov'2011 and have applied for the CSQ in May'2012 received CSQ in May'2016 .
There after Applied QSW on 20/7/16
AOR-25/11/16
MR -29/12/16
Med Done -9/1/17
RPRF paid -10/1/17
BackgroundCheck -Not Started Yet

So for me it's more than 5.5 Years
But still waiting.
I know a person(Outland ) whose VO was New Delhi named jitenderakkari & he had received his PPR right in the 16th month from the date of Application. There is another forum member named Mgazi whose VO is Abu Dhabi Received AOR IN Feb'2016 & still waiting for the Medical request.
So guys we are here to motivate each other & discuss the issues we have and to share the timelines etc.
In a single line to help each other .
So guys please don't be desperate or frustrate because God is always along with us & He definitely will fulfil our Dreams.
From the bottom of my heart I really apologize if I have hurt any body's emotions/feelings.

Even i am now in my 14th month since application & still waiting for PPR
You know, it seems true what you said, but reality can be different. When you have a temporary residence, you need to check your permit and "if they don't accept me this time?" (4 temporary permit for me)
As you said, we have a history in Canada and CIC decision can affect our entire life. Some inland had children here, landed in Canada many years ago (like me), our future is more incertain than outland. If we don't have our PR, our dreams which are already beginning will fail miserably. As I said, I live in Canada since I have 17 years old. I'm now 22. I had my first job here, my first appartment, my first boyfriend, my first mistakes and troubles etc...I did my immigration alone, so for me, Canada is my country.
Could you picture if I must come back to France? It's not my country anymore!
Each inland applicant have his history with Canada. When you taste this freedom, it can be really hard to step back because you're not "elligible".
Plus, you need to figure something: we are not free. We must respect our permit conditions (work hours, no studies...) and be considere as a " immigrant" Since the beginning of the process, I lost 3 jobs. I passed the exam, they offered me a job but"oh you haven't a PR"...No but I have a open work permit..."it's not the same thing"...Same thing with studies.

Yes I have.
All process seems completed. My backgrounf changed from "checking" to not applicable in june and came back to "checking" 2 days later. No need additionnal document.

Very well said by kikou and i concur with each and every words as well as hardships which comes along with WP .. no offences meant but for Inland folks it is more difficult because we have more or less amalgamated with socio -economic fabric .. for you it will be a new beginning couple of months delay might not impact that much ... Just to let you know as you might no be aware every time WP you loose you health card and have to wait until you get new WP , if you have kids they loose their school admissions ..not to mention other things like job change etc
Now coming to your point on comparison with FSW , this comparison is very well justified as folks are paying lot of taxes ,Just to be clear as an out land you can very well apply for EE and their won't be any Query from CIC but folks working or studying in Quebec couldn't even apply because we will get query for that from CIC ... i would have got my PR long back if i would have applied through EE (as i had sufficient points for ITA) it is only don't won't circumvent system...

I will not enter in details , but most inland cases came here as student first step , and except people from France , who pays like quebers , all others (me as a Tunisian for example) we pay too much , and i invested on this to make things faster and easier.
Now i work with a close work permit , that means , if my employer decide to fire me , i am out of canada and say bye bye to PR , or stay as tourist , which is expensive.
It is not to be offensive , but i all countries , people who are already in have advantage , as they have already informations about them.
I know many people spend more than 5 years for getting the CSQ. Then, for the federal step, they spend the same time with us.
Even in the last year, the processing was suspended from July to NOV. All people have no any methods but waiting for the reply.
If we can't get the update this week, I really afraid that the thing will reoccur again.
