some are academic..,that is how you are going to get in hardbind also...anyway only task 1 differs with writing & other module may be just a bit tougher than ielts general...but that way you'll find the test lot easier...I had done all the practice tests without bothering academic or general and I found listening actual test lot simple compared to the practice I did..anyway missed few answers &I got only 8.5...still it was possible because I practiced with academic as well...

Thanks a lot lino. I know what you mean. Once you start practicing academic ones, general ones will be felt easier. I guess i might have to be a occasional visitor here at forum until the end of test. I absolutely don't know if i would be able to do it cos i get motivation from here and i am so used to of chatting with all of you guys

2 hours and 30 minutes to go. Come on cic. Draw today with CRS 424 and 3669* ITA'S. we need back to back draw as winter is also coming in 12 days.

As i noticed last time draw happened exact on 11AM ottawa time. add one more hour hope so

I guess I am the most unique case here in this entire forum and this thread because we got 3 ITA till now and now we are waiting for our 4th ITA in upcoming draw and I believe this is the most anticipated draw for us and we want this dearly. In first ITA, we couldn't arrange documents timely hence had to reject it. In second ITA, we had a fight about something and I rejected that invitation in anger and instantly regretted it. In third ITA, we got very emotional due to illness of our grand mother and decided that we won't go to Canada and rejected the invitation. When grandma came home, she scolded and made us swear that we will work for our bright future and will not get swayed by emotions. So, here we are.. Waiting for the ITA again, the 4th one and this time, we are definitely not letting it go away.. Amen..

I agree that yours is a very unique case

If I had an ITA, I would resolve all my anger and resentment, and wouldn't think twice about leaving behind members of my extended family I'm mean that way

From where do I start?

I learnt french (writing and grammar) in school class 9 and 10. However, this was 10 years ago.

Those are really good, especially Books - Mat Clark Writing! Helped a lot, scored 7.5 in Writing. All together 9,9,7.5,7. For Listening I used YouTube examples.

All the best for your test buddy. Stay calm and stay focused. Don't get distracted due to any reason because if you blinked, you will miss it. I got distracted for 2-3 secs and missed listening by 0.5. And this pain is so real and even bigger than ITA or Draw.

Hi Folks,

Do you think draw will be declared today considering there was no maintenance message on CIC yesterday?

Also, is it standard procedure adapted by IRCC to schedule maintenance before declaring draws? I'm more than hopeful for it to be declared today but my pessimist intuition says it won't.

P.S. :- I'm at CRS 432

Maintenance and draws have no relations. There have been many cases where in there was a draw without a maintenance. So pray there is a draw today

There is no way to be sure hey, but after a lovely Canada day celebration I'm sure they would love to have a huge draw. It will definitely be the nice cherry on top.

Not being rude here....but it is good you have finally made up your mind......hope you get an ITA again soon & today....

hope you note that by declining thrice you have made 3 ppl wait longer......

And you know how many cases are like this? No wonder declining rate is 40% or more! I am waiting for my shot, I have all papers ready and have taken this seriously! Sometimes life is really unfair!
