Guess the waiting never ceases until the all important email is received.
I am quite happy at the moment because I can rest easy now knowing I just crossed an important hurdle. I was starting to get worried because my IP1 took a while compared to some people on this forum. Glad that's over now.:)
Same here hopefully eligibility passes soon as well

hey guys.. my aor was on 1 may, meds passed on 21 jun and ip1 on 22 jun. 21 jun was also the request letter for sg coc which i submitted by 22 jun.. starting to get worried as it's been sitting at ip1.. does coc delay the ip1? for those who need to submit coc after meds passed?

thanks in advanced...

Yes it seems so or slightly more,do you have any idea if passing eligibilty reduces the chances of rejection afterwards or not?

Yes, once you pass eligibility, your chances of rejection goes down considerably since then only security is left.

Meds passed today! FSW-O, AOR of April 28 = 67 days after AOR. They gave me a new UCI number (I already had one from when I studied & worked in Canada before). Status is at: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." So I think that's IP1.

Do you think its ok to call and ask by phone if eligibility is passed?will they be able to help?does it cause any problem if i call them again since i called them before?

Yes, it can as it takes 20-40 for them to upload additional docs. Don't worry, it will change as they get your docs and find everything in order.

Wanted our opinion if the below roles and responsibilities qualify for the NOC - 2171 . Thanks.

Does not look to me as 2171 from my perspective, however, its best to check with CIC directly - I will probably dig up that email id and post it.

You can never be sure of eligibility, though your A11.2 is passed around 80-85 days for most candidates in case there is no delay, but people have got verification calls to their employers just 5-7 days before PPRs too, reason being is that though eligibility is passed but still is finalised at the last stage and some VO may raise concern if they find something incorrect or fishy in their opinion, though this is rare that rejection happened at this stage, but I have seen 1-2 cases, very rare though in my opinion.
But yes you can a breathe a sigh rellief after you pass A11.2 as rarely anything goes wrong after, But they say never say never , hence the correct overview of things.
