Hi,
I have been living at my current address since birth; was living in the UK for a year for my postgraduate course.
In the address history, while adding an address, it is asked if this is your current address; to which I answered "yes". My address history looks like this:
2007/1/1- Present - Indian Address
2011/9/9-2012/9/20- UK Address

Is this alright ? The overlap I mean

No, that's not right. You can't be living in two places at the same time, can you?

It should be more like this

2007/1/1-2011/9/9 - Indian address
2011/9/10-2012/9/20 - UK address
2012/9/21-Present - Indian address

Thanks for your prompt reply!
The only problem I see is that when I make the first entry (Jan'07-Sep'11), I will have to answer the question "Is this your current address?" as "No"
However, I am very much living at the same place. Will that be okay ?

Yes, because you will fill in another row with the current dates and mark that as your current address. This is completely normal - many people go to work or study in another city/country and then come back home for some time.
