Guys, I have submitted my Express entry profile two weeks ago (24th June 2017).
Profile Status is "Submitted". All sections are "Transmitted".

But, I didn't get Unique Client Identifier (UCI) till now.

Does it matters ? Shall I consider that Express entry profile has submitted ?
You will get UCI only once you submit documents post-ITA.
Just to add on to that.

UCI stands for Unique Client Identifier and its given to you and all your dependents once you pass the initial stages of the PR application. So don't worry about it.

All the best

My brother who has a PR card is moving next week to Canada to finally settle there. Is it safe to change the answer in my application regarding siblings in Canada to "Yes" now or should I wait till he is actually there? I'd feel a lot better if I had the extra 15 points in case there is a draw soon.

Hey 1 Q... can I apply for and get the PCC from my home country before getting the ITA?

Hi Guys,
I have got 405 CRS points and OINP NOI Received on . can somebody suggest me if i have to go for OINP application or should i wait for the draw to come down to my score . which one would be the ideal ? is there any possibility that the points would come down to 405 in near future??

"
Points for sibling in Canada
31 (1)
Fifteen points may be assigned to a foreign national if either they or their accompanying spouse or common-law partner has at least one sibling who is

  • (a) 18 years or older;
  • (b) a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; and
  • (c) living in Canada."

Based on the ministerial instruction governing the Express Entry System, they must living in Canada. So to be safe, I would wait until they have actually moved.

All the best

With your score I would go for the PNP. I believe scores will eventually come down to 405, but I wouldn't waste the golden opportunity as there is no guarantee.

Congrats and all the best.

It is better to wait until he moves and has his documents past landing sorted. At some point of time you will be asked to prove your sibling being in Canada and the variance in dates may not go in your favour.

Thanks for this, but I'm still a little confused. I have two profiles, one which expired on 25th June 2017 and a new one I created on the 30th June 2017. Over the weekend just past, a UCI code appeared on my old expired profile, but not for my new profile - it's blank. I don't have a NOI or an ITA and my score is currently 379 with a NOC of 0213.

I got an email from CIC over the past weekend stating they had made an update and with the ICT focus by Ontario I had hoped it was a NOI, but sadly no, just the UCI being added to my old expired profile.

So I just wanted to say that you can get a UCI even if you are not past the initial stages of the PR application.

Really.. Have you ever applied for a Canadian visa?
