Is there anyone out here who was asked for to fill in and send Schedule A Backgroud/Declaration form as a request to submit additional documents?

I was asked for this form, which I submitted on 21st June. After that my application states "The additional documents you provided are under review" and ofcourse the background check is NA. What I am wondering is, is this IP1? Can somebody explain what would be my status just now because honestly I dont this IP1 and IP2 thing.

Hi people,

I am a little stressed here. Got a nomination through PNP. Submitted application and received acknowledgement on 24th April. FSW - Outland. No change in medical status as of 30th June. Anyone in a similar situation?
Don't worry, PNP is generally the slowest as others have written here. Once you clear medicals things will pick up.

Hi All, Has any US resident got any further update on the Background check after Medical?
My AOR is April 6th and i got my medicals passed on June 22nd. No update since then.
Is your BGC still at NA? or did it pass to ip1 on the day of medicals pass?

Application type: FSW-O, Nationality - Indian, Residence - UAE
AOR - April 3rd
Meds Passed - June 6
BG - IP1 - June 6
BG changed to NA next day.
RPRF request - June 14
Addl Docs - June 18 - Docs provided have been updated
Addl Docs - June 19 - Addl docs are being reviewed.
BG - NA.

So apparently, there has been no changes in my BG after IP1>NA. and its now 90 days since AOR. I reckon I am still on track according to mymmitracker average timelines. However, I am quite anxious, after I saw another candidate with absolutely same timelines as me get a PPR last week and mine is still stuck on NA.

Does the RPRF request delay the timelines significantly?

I have the exact same timeline as you (AOR & RPRF) and my BG is also stuck at NA. I called them and they said that eligibility is almost done and security is pending. The application is within standard timelines so no reason to worry IMO.

Hopefully everything should go smooth.

It changed to 'Your application is in Progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check', the same day when my medicals were passed and since then there is no further change.

Have you been checking account regularly, some people miss this change. Also in your case they asked for additional documents, so it will take time I think, it takes 30-45 days these days for CIC to upload your additional docs. The day your status changes to, The additional documents you provided are uploaded" then you can be sure that they have received your additional documents. the status you mentioned for additional docs is in every file it reflects nothing as it was an anomaly introduced in all files after changes in June. Keep checking your account regularly.
You can also call CIC to ask status of your additional documents, I have read it triggers them to upload the same in your file quicker.

As for IP1 and IP2, please read the post below-
When your background changes from "not applicable" to in progress for the very first time (usually around your medicals pass) it is IP1. You will receive no e-mail notification for this (or mostly any change in background at any stage) and the only way to check this is by checking your account for updates as sometimes it very quickly changes back to "not applicable" and is missed by applicants.
Please read following for details.

Stages- AOR>Meds pass>IP1>NA (Not applicable)>Ip2>PPR.

IP1 refers to in progress 1 i.e when your background goes in progress for the first time. This stage your R10 check (completeness of documents is checked). It happens simultaneously with the medicals and both are independent of each other. They both generally get updated at the same time in your file give or take few days. So after your meds pass it will be around the corner..

After R10 is complete your BGC will change to NA. After this your eligibility and criminality will be checked, if all is okay file will be transferred to LVO or CPC. Then comes IP2.

IP2 refers to in progress 2 i.e when your background goes in progress for the 2nd time. This happens generally after 10-35 days from NA Stage. Here your file is finalised for eligibility, security and criminality and PPR is generally issued after 2-15 days from this stage, if all goes well of course.

Note- timelines vary for different applicants as each case is unique and processed differently from other, these timelines have been deduced based on the current trends for normal average cases (FSW-O).

For the persons who are waiting, how do you apply for jobs? after you recieve the PRR or before. I am not sure when to start applying for jobs especially as most require you to be a citizen / PR.
if you work for a MNC with an office in Canada, the best bet is to approach your senior and explain to him the situation. That should be the preferred option.

Dear All,

Requesting your expert advice on the following matter:

My AOR is 8 April 2017, Medical passed and IP1 on 9 June 2017, NA since 14 June 2017.

For proof of fund I have shown fixed deposits, savings certificates and bank balances in my two accounts i.e. salary and savings accounts maintained with two different banks. The total balance of my fixed deposits covers more than the required fund.

Now my query is, I want to transfer all of the balance on my salary account to my savings account. If I execute this transfer, will this affect my application in anyway?

Highly appreciate your guidance.

Thanks

As long as you have the required funds in one of your accounts, you are safe.

After AOR, the next place where your POF comes into effect is when you land in Canada. There the immigration officer might request for a statement of funds. That time a statement of your savings account should suffice.

Nothing to worry here.
