Hey guys, my lawyer just sent me an email saying:
I have confirmed that your application was received and is being processed by Immigration. Your application number is xxxxx and your Client ID. number is xxxxx


We should have a decision on xxxx eligibility to sponsor you within the next 7 to 10 days.

Is it the AOR ?

Karthik: There should be a column next to Visa office in the sheet for inland/outland.

The excel sheet is only for outland. So why do we need a separate column?As someone posted, it seems anyone can apply for outland.

I talked to an agent today, he told me that they were processing May 19 applications and that they were behind. He told even said 3 or 4 calls before i had a person who did not recieve Aor that applied on May 16. So he was saying that you should wait for another week.
The interesting thing is do they have two departments, i think one department is ahead while the other is behind hhhg

I told him that we even have a group and that May 30 applicants are recieving the AOR. he said i don't know what they are applying for but what i know is here in Mississauga office they are processing May 19 applicants. I hope that is true i just can't wait ...

I was also told today that they are processing 19th May applications. I guess half of the world applied on 19th May coz they are not moving from that date and it's almost 1 week they are working on 19th applications..... Don't know what's happening. Let's hope for the best.

Btw did you apply for your daughter's Proof Of Citizenship? Did they finish processing it? If yes then how long did it take?
I want to know coz I have also applied for my daughter's proof of citizenship.

Hello all,

I applied to sponsor my wife on May and here is the status so far.

1. We received your application to sponsor **** on May 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 22, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on June 21, 2017.
4. We sent you correspondence on June 29, 2017 about the decision on your application.

My wife received the following email on June 28th:

Dear ****

Please find information concerning your application in the attached document. If you are unable to view the attached document or did not receive a document, please advise us by forwarding this e-mail to

However, nothing was attached to the email. So, I emailed them using the Webform and explained the situation. They didn't respond, but they sent a new email to my wife with an attachment. The attached PDF asks for Schedule A declaration and Police certificate.

Here are my questions:
1- What do you think the first email was about (the one with no attachment)? Did I miss anything? Have you had the same issue?
2- At what stage does CIC asks my wife to do the medical exam?

P.S. My wife has not done the medical exam yet.

Is that sponsors ecas? If so, the supposed attached pdf is a letter of sponsorship approval.

I tried this but its not letting me i think its too early i just recieved the letter today
