Our God has boundless resources. The only limit is in us. Our asking, our thinking, our praying are too small. Our expectations are too limited.

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ❤

Finally, My Student Permit Approved in 29 days!

Timeline

May 30- Lodged Application (Paperbased)
June 14- Medical Request
June 19- Medical done @SLEC
June 22- Medical Transmitted to the CEM
June 29- Visa Approved

Prayers lang guys, it really works! God is good all the time! Thank you po sa lahat God bless us all ❤

Hi @ChrisYu_ , Congrats sa approval ng study permit! Nakita ko signature note mo you will be studying at Centennial College.
Require ba talaga na ipa WES ang transcript o certified true copy from school is acceptable? Plano ko rin kasi mag apply Centennial , January 2018 intake. Thanks :)

Masusuggest ko sa family is how established are you sa Philippines. Base sa data na binigay mo, kung wala ka sa pinas, ok na dalhin mo na sila with you. Galingan mo na lang sa SOP. Base naman sa statsitcis mas mataas yung individual kasi family ties is a big impact sa application for temporary resident. May chance pero mostly if your application is approve at wala sa kanilang problema, medical and stuff, then pasado rin sila. If denied ka syempre denied sila automatically.
thank you again po for your speedy response. I have no idea what I must write in the statement of purpose other than what I really intend to do which is to study in Canada though must I explicitly state that I shall be returning to my country of residence after my studies? I am certain that they are fully aware that many would like to utilize the student program as a springboard into permanent residency yet, which I am also very much aware of but must I outrightly tell them that I shall most certainly go back home? :) many thanks in advance and God bless you for answering this query

yes... the very fact that they are aware that many people use the study permit program as a stepping stone into PR means that all the more you should prove to the VO that this will not be your intention as well... try to mention more of your home ties (family, property, a local employer certifying that you will be hired once u finish ur studies, etc) so that they'll be more convinced that you don't intend to stay away from home permanently...

u might as well mention your academic background, why Canada and why that particular college and course (try to relate your course in the Phils. to the course you're planning to take up if possible)

Read my posts and you will be guided accordingly on all the steps we took as I try my best to documents the things we do so people with he same case can have a guide :)

As a summary, I applied first and once approved, my wife and baby applied ASAP and got approved and now we are about to submit our EE profile. Wish us luck!

Good day sir! I hope and pray all went well for you and your family there. I would like to find out when your wife and child applied for their respective visas after your student visa was granted. I also would like to find out if you must state in your statement of purpose that you will go back to the Philippines once your studies have been completed. I was already accepted into a university in Manitoba and all our documents are ready. I am torn between applying along with my wife and three kids or if I should do what you did :) Thanks and God bless you and your family.

Thank you sir. My wife and I have been running two small business for sometime now. I don't have any real estate under my belt yet I have liquid funds, a car registration certificate and perhaps insurance policies. Would that suffice??? :p I did mention in my SOP that my business will continue operations without me as I engage in my studies. I implicitly stated that I would be returning to the Philippines as the purpose of my studies is to enhance my skills in managing/improving/expanding businesses. Would it also be more advisable to apply first alone or must I apply with my family with me or should I apply with my wife and not with our kids??? My apologies for so many questions. The thought of it all is just overwhelming at times considering the money and effort needed :(
