Paragraph 186(w) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) allows students who have completed their program of study to work while they are waiting for a decision on their work permit application, as long as they were a full-time student enrolled at a designated learning institution (DLI) in a post-secondary academic, vocational or professional training program and they did not exceed the allowable hours of work.

You guys can work while waiting for the PGWP, this is the same situation I'm in. This work experience can count for CEC

Well according to the initial task distribution list, it was lino82's job to arrange booze. Now he made a unrealistic, but very cheery prediction based on fairy tale this morning, i offered to sponsor his booze lol. But now if i get this spirit job, free vodka for all @ yukon lol. Among newbies who would like to join us, we need some volunteers to make tent and clear dishes as well hahaha. Oh for food we have a foodie ready, already lol.

I'd have to be a big fan of Dara Singh, and I kind of liked that deduction.
However, it is more complex than Eleven Balban. It is influenced by the ancient Maya Mythology. It is derived from a realm called Xibalba. (Continue to Wikipedia)
Oh, how I adore mythology. Xibalba is a "place of fear", and I am its inhabitant xibalban (like India:Indian, Nepal: Napoleon , etc.)

PS: The movie The Fountain has references to Xibalba, watch it!!

Just called CIC and they said the experience counts from the date you received your work permit if you are in CEC category.

Some days ago, I received an email from Canadian Embassy about the invitation of a webinar of BCCA-IN (British Columbia Construction Association - Integrating Newcomers), to be held in July, 2017.

Strange thing is my EE profile is active but with CRS < 400, as struggling for IELTS

Any body received such invitation of BCCA webinar? What's all this about? I am novice to all of it. would appreciate, if provide me some insights about it. Is it potential LMIA offer, or some general info. type webinar, etc.?
