In the section "Intent to Reside in Ontario"
"Please list all of your established ties in Ontario below (maximum 1000 characters): "

What should I put in here? I don't have any relatives or job offer or any other connection with Ontario. Also, this is a mandatory field (there is *).

In case you have any friend who is PR holder or On Student Visa(personal connection).. Give his/her details..where he/she studies/lives in Ontario.. Plus any one whom you have worked with(professional connection).. give his/her details (name/PR number/city of living in Ontario)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the "Other Activities (excluding education and paid work)" section, do I have to list all my personal travels like one-week vacation trip to Thailand etc

Yes my friend.. you have to list all your travel activities.. since your passport is stamped with visas/immigration stamps.. i would recommend you to put details..

Please advise. Thanks!!

Hi Guys,

I got Ontario NOI email today in my account. I am very new to this process. My score is 419. Looking at current trend it looks like I should get invite without Ontario PNP.

My question is - How much time do I have to respond to the NOI email I got today.

I am thinking to wait few more days and see if I get invite without any PNP. This will save me $1500 and I am not bound to stay in that provience. Hope this makes sense.
Yes.. you will get ITA..

So I need to know since I have Ontario NOI, how much time to I have to go and register on OINP e-Filling portal.
You have 6 months to register after receipt of NOI... and once you register on portal.. you have 14 days to submit all your supporting documents and pay the fees..

I did lot of research and did not find much useful info. I am sorry if this is very common info and I am just stupid to not to find it :)[/QUOTE

Hi Friends,

I am a newbie here so any advise/ guidance will be very helpful. I got NOI on 23-Feb-2017, my CRS is 406. I didn't applied for Ontario assuming score will come down but now it seems to be a distant reality within the validity period; my NOI expires on 23-Aug-2017. I have all my documents ready however my only concern is proof of funds. My bank statement is dated Mar-2017 however I bought a property in April this year due to which I had to withdraw all the money. Now can I go ahead with the submission process with Mar-2017 bank statement or do I have to obtain a new one from my bank; though I only will be able to arrange this till end of July.

Thanks in advance☺☺
Hi,

If you can wait till end of July then please wait. Arrange for funds and show them latest bank statements and 6 months from that date.

Also take a balance confirmation statement from bank.

I just don't understand what is OINP doing with my case file.

Got NOI on 19th May submitted all documents with payment on 5th June but status was showing Awaiting submission for 10 days. Wrote mail mails to them but no one bothered to reply.
Again cancelled the previous payment and entry and submitted new application on 12th June. Additional document for settlement of funds was asked in 2 days provided the same on 14th June and till date status showing " AwAiting information"
Daam! 10 days gone still they haven't checked their mail and not updating the status. I am writing to them daily but as usual no reply:(

This is really frustrating not answering calls or replying to mails.
Friends please suggest what should I do now anyone with the same problem no update on in status for 10 days.

Hi,

Hope you attached the required documents in the email they sent you. You just need to reply to the same email.

Thank you Harmit I have sent mails with proper Attachement, in fact the same proof of funds my mutual funds statement with letter was given to them at the time of submitting the application but they are not reading the documents properly.

For 3 people I had to show CAD 18.5k (INR 9.5 lacs) whereas I have shown them CAD 35k (INR 35lacs). In mutual fund they are checking the unit of holdings instead of the market value of the holdings:rolleyes:. I have written to them with explanation and also supporting documents but no reply.
I have written to both the emails given by you. Hope they will reply by next week.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that but this is due to officer handling more cases than others. Officers usually get your email in order of Files they are currently handling (Priority).

The best solution is to write an email to both Express Entry and Ontario Nominee email and ask them to kindly issue an acknowledgment of reciept for Additional Information or confirm that my documents are transferred to the relevant officer.

They will get back to you soon to confirm that they have received your email and forwarded it to your immigration officer.

Sending more emails is not going to speed up your process.

I have a friend who received an additional information request asking to send Screenshot of Declined ITA on June 20th. Usually, they send AOR within 48Hours followed by Nomination within an Hour but he hasn't heard anything yet. Nothing more frustrating than that when you are minutes away from Nomination but still have to wait for unknown days.

I suggested him to do the same thing and he got reply that we have received your documents and forwarded it to your immigration officer who will contact you once have reviewed your file.

I hope this will help. Good Luck!

Thanks a ton Bill.
Every morning I wakeup and check mails and ONE key account for any updates but get disappointed when I find none. Thanks to you and all other mates in this forum to keep our spirits high and wait for ITA.
I will today once again send them mail requesting acknowledgment of documents. The only thing worrying me is my bday next month where I will loose 10 points and come down to 397 hence trying to speed up the process.

Your Birthday will not impact your application if your skilled points are still 67 or more.

Reply the ADR through the mail that sent it. Be sure what you are sending to them is what they request and support it as much as you can, they replied mine very fast. Good luck with your app.
Thanks very much!! Congratulation to you~~

Hello All,

I have applied for my Ontario PNP with my old passport and currently it's in Decision in Progress status.

As I just received my new passport after submitting my Ontario application, I need help wrt going further.

So, should I update my EE profile and send my old and new passport PDFs along with letter of explanation to their email ids?

or just update my EE profile?

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,

Hi guys, I want to know the minimum CRS point required to get OINP nomination under skill trades program.
My CRS score is 386 with my wife, and my NOC is 7231.
I have been living in Ontario since 4 years now. 2 yr study and 2 yr on work permit.
My CRS score will be 401 on coming July 04.

There is not any minimum CRS requirement for OINP nomination under skill trades program , mine was 378 and I got NOI on June 07, 2017 and submitted on June 08, 2017

Good day Bill,

My ONIP application status says "Awaiting Information" but it was previously "Decision in Progress'' for more than 10days. Before it changed to "Awaiting Information", I was asked to send my entire passport pages which I did. I even got an acknowledgement of receipt of the Passport pages. I don't understand why my status now reads "Awaiting Information" despite the fact that I have not received any mail requesting additional information.

Any advice please?!

Don't worry it takes some time to update. If you received AOR then wait for 48 hours before it will change back to DIP.
