Guys, i have a question, i opened my profile on 16/06/2017 (became available on 17/06/2017) with CRS 434 and i choose Ontario as principal provise, but i still haven't received a OINP, My wife is the principal applicant with IELTS R9,S9,L9,W7 and NOC 2171. How long take to receive a ONIP?
You should receive it today(I could be wrong). But why go for OINP, when you have a great chance for EE ITA like maybe the very next draw?

Do you think maybe they messed something up in the system with the June 6th changes which explains why there hasn't been a draw?

I am not an expert but I read it from these threads that to receive OINP, you must recreate your profile if you have a CRS score above 400. Once you recreate your profile you get EOI (Expression Of Interest), following Friday. It is up to you to accept it or opt out. I have not recreated my profile due to recent changes in the EE system regarding timestamp and position. I created my profile on March 20th, 2017 which would give me an extra edge over other candidates(Hopefully).

One thing to note, is that it is extremely expensive for OINP to process an application (a whopping $1500.00 CAD), therefore a huge amount of people are waiting for CRS to come down. The trend suggests that the score should go below 410 pretty soon(maybe within a month or two).

So I would suggest weigh your options and see what fits best for you. And be always on the lookout to improve your CRS score. If at all it is possible.

Another thing the gap doesn't matter as long as you attach LOE(Letter Of Explanation) with your application, also your current job explains that you are working which is always a plus.

Hope this helps.

BTW how is living in Montreal like?
I thank you a lot for your time.

Montreal is great place to live but for me I applied regular QSW program Jan/2016. It is vast time to destroy career!!! cant wait anymore. Everytime I phoned MIDI, replied my application is on waiting list!! hopeless now!!

I am ready to pay $1500 for Ontario!

So you if I can recreate EE profile, I will definitely get EOI? with CRS 410!!!

Well it is my choice, who are you to suggest me. I am only expressing my view.
Apart from the 67 point criteria, ECA, IELTS, etc., one requirement for Canadian aspirants is politeness. Improve your politeness score, and we shall welcome you to our planned party in Yukon in March 2018.
PS: Please note, you were addressing a very senior member. His Skilled Experience in life alone is probably more than your age.

I think it doesn't really matter, if you get into FSW program. Not sure though.
That was the conclusion of a little research i made as well. You'll miss some benefits like free french classes, but as long as you have a PR, you're entitled to live anywhere in Canada.
