I created and submitted my EE profile yesterday, and now I've received an email from CIC informing me that my application has been updated. However, when I logged in my account, nothing has changed. Any idea?

it probably just got accepted and confirmed (processed). i had the same early this month

I'm in the no point category. As long as they don't change the rules, I'm fine. But if they were to add an upper age limit for eligibility, like many countries have, it would be over for me. Age is the one thing you can't change.

I already have maxed IELTS and have a US master's (as has darling spouse), so 414 is our max unless I can get the 7s in french. Just started learning french this year, so it will take some time.

I really wish you guys make it

Im on the same score and same dilemma....wondering if i should recreate my profile or not :-(

Only way to know if there is someone to confirm that there were no NOIs sent by Ontario after June 6th till now. I am waiting for ECA for my masters and hopefully dont need the PNP.

I am not sure why some of our comrades in this forum have started learning French or planning one year education in canada.

Remember, if you haven't reached CLB 9 band( ielts equivalent is LRWS 8777), Working on English and re attempting ielts is quickest and easiest option for high crs score.

From No Hope of Cut-off to ITA..All within a week

This has been one of the most exhilarating week for me lately. With CRS score of 384 & cut off always going around 460 last year, I had left all hopes of seeing canadian shores. Lost another 5 points from CRS as another year went by.

At 33y, masters & 10+ Yrs of exp., I scored as much as I could. With few more friends settling in Vancouver & Toronto, my impulse only went up.

So I started my relentless effort to get a hang on my CLB 8 as my IELTS in first attempt was L/R/W/S # 7.5/6.5/6.5/6.5. Got help from some IELS SME(subject matter experts) & took another dive into IELTS in March 17. I was pleasantly surprised to know my score- L/R/W/S # 8.5/8/7.5/7.5. voila- This is CLB 10. Updated my EE profile on 22rd, left for vacation only to return today. So when I opened my inbox, I was absolutely ecstatic to read that I received ITA .

From the word go, I knew IELTS score is the most important factor,so just 2 notch up in CLB made the difference of 70 points as my current CRS score stands at 454.

To all my friends- who are waiting for score to come down, I would strongly recommend give a hard push to higher CLB. It may just be the only thing standing between you and Canada.

I think if you need to be considered for NOI then you should recreate your profile. There isn't any great harm in doing so. Some people are reluctant to do so because of the new tie breaker rule. But if you are not selected ( i.e. receive an ITA)because of the rule then chances are you would be selected in the very next draw.

I suppose i should recreate....but thing is i created my profile fairly recently and i managed to cross 400 only last week....so im hoping maybe ill get oinp without having to recreate since my application itself is not that old.....if i see other ppl getting oinp soon and i dont then ill consider recreating i guess....thanx for your opinion

Hi bro, as per the CRS latest distribution statistic announced on IRCIC website, the number of candidates in the pool with CRS range 351-400 is 22,313 candidates and bear in mind that number is distributed for each group in that range. So, if the IRCIC, as I believe, falling short of candidates available with scores over 400 they'd pick those who are between 351-400 given the recent trend of the CRS cut-off decrease from 800 to 413. Having said that, it's preferable that you work on updating your express entry profile if you have got any better score in English Language so that you'll stand at decent CRS range to get you picked sooner.

Keep fingers crossed and the hope alive bro, and the best has yet to come... nothing predictable though, and all our assumptions are based on recent statistics.

Yes I booked my ielts test today on 29th July and studying hard to achieve clb9 in each module!that wud boost my score to 400+ which I guess is consider a good score according to the new cutoff trend.

NOI's are sent out on Fridays. If you don't get one tomorrow, I think you should recreate your profile over the weekend and make sure you start getting your docs in order right away. The OINP document requirements are more stringent than the federal one.

What an inspiring story....even in my case the only obstacle is IELTS
Already appeared 3 times and planning to give it another shot on 29th July.
Also,if u could explain how to improve the score, it would be highly appreciated thnx

in 2015, between draws #8 and #9 it was 35 days, but the program was very different back then

Most likely there will be a draw tomorrow. Whenever it may be, expect some crs slashing back to back draws. Let the CRS rise. You know what they say. the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
