C-6 law has been passed. However it is still 4/6 year rule until CIC update it to 3/5 rule. When will 3/5 rule kick in, is anyone's guess. Could be 1 month to 1 year.

The 3/5 rule will be implemented on Fall 2017 (Late-Sep to Late Dec), it's already been announced

It's all hearsay. No point in predicting when 3/5 will kick in. Where is this announcement made? Was it on CIC's official website? Any info given outside of CIC's website, is all hearsay and speculation, nothing more.

Sep to March / April

They still didn't mention when in fall :) almost 3 months remaining for fall and than 6 months fall will last :) Comeon CIC we need dates here

The implementation stage is out of federal government's hand now. It's now in CIC's hand. They are the one who can determine when 3/5 will go into force.

Are you Serious!! You don't know when fall starts? - and you mentioned 6 months fall will last ?? Come on now a simple google will give you the dates when the fall begins and ends ..and it cannot be more than 3 months .. Also it was officially announced that the law will come into effect in fall 2017 ..there is a fact based forum thread on C6 started by Sypfy please follow that.

This is simply wrong. canada.ca is THE official website of the canadian government. cic.gc.ca is one particular website of the federal government. Press releases however are published on canada.ca. Just because there is a particular portal under the domain cic.gc.ca for application forms and similar information that doesn't mean it is the only official website.

Here's an explanation of what canada.ca is and how everything is getting merged into the canada.ca website over time:

cic.gc.ca is just a shorthand domain for immigration purposes. Just look at the navigational menu of cic.gc.ca and canada.ca. It is exactly the same. So again: They are the same website. cic.gc.ca is just a shorthand for a particular section of the canada.ca website.

IRCC (it's not called CIC anymore) is an agency of the federal government. Of course things published on canada.ca are NOT hearsay, it is the official web portal of the federal government and it's agencies, including IRCC. IRCC does (and has to do) whatever the minister tells them to do.
So this is not out of the federal government's hand now. As said, IRCC is part of the federal government, just like CRA, CBSA and all the other agencies.

CIC is part of the federal government & they can't contradict with each other! In all cases I've just called CIC call centre & they confirmed that the new rule of 3/5 will be activated on fall 2017.
PLEASE, don't tell me that CIC agent doesn't know anything & that you know better than him, because I'm expecting this answer from you :)
 
The government has stated it will he introduced in the fall.

Actual dates may be available from IRCC on the 30th June.
