Apparently someone called and one of the clerks picked up the wrong pile of applications without checking dates which is why there seems to be a lot of out of order processing (more than usual) - not sure how true it is though. Just thought I would share.

Hello, I am not sure if you have heard back from CIC at all. I applied on May 9th and agent said that they can't find the documents. Please let me know if you hear something from CIC.

Hi..we'll give another week as what the agent told us..but it already took so long and we are really worried..all our original documents are in there..ill call again by next week to ask about it again..ill update here

Looks like it you should have a UCI now and can check ecas and try linking

Really? Hope that this is what just happened and not that the other files are missing..we're already waiting almost 2 months now and whenever i call cic they would tell me that they cant find anything under our name and just wait a little more

I just talked to agent at CIC and he had a completely different POV as compared to the one from yesterday. He told me that they haven't lost the file. It might be misplaced but not lost. There was nothing on my account explicitly stating CPC-M had lost the file. The enquiry is still open with CPC-M. he advised that I should wait another week and call back...This is so frustrating!!!
