Approval for residancy

Hello, i just recently got approved for my residancy to canada from sweden but i havent got any emails i saw it through my online account. It has been 2 weeks since i got aporoved but got no emails or messages in what to do next. is this normal if not what should i do?

yes even spam and my junk mail should i be worried? when i called the immigration number the voice audio system even said i have been approved but the agent couldnt help me

i have looked at what is usually next and they say the passport but i already sent a photocopy of my passport with my application and im not from a visa exempt country so does this play a big role

My husband is from the USA which is also a visa-exempt country. He did receive the passport request email and had to send in another copy of his passport and two new passport photos even though we had included those with the application.

Did you happen to have a representative, by any chance? Another poster has also been waiting a while for the passport request email. It was mentioned they have a rep and I'm wondering if maybe the rep might get that email. Does anyone know?

no i do not have a rep we submitted it ourselves

You will need to submit another copy of the passport and other ppr docs.

Yes. Usually not long after the DM you'll get the email. Keep an eye on your email/spam. Do you correspond to CIC via email?

Email your VO and let them know you had DM for weeks now. They could have sent the email already or not. Won't hurt to contact them.
