Hello

I got my COPR in May 2017 with validity till November 2017.

I have applied for a VISA for self only & declared my wife as unaccompanying (wanted to bring her after 6 months or so).

Although she's not accompanying me, She has undergone medicals & submitted PCC along with me as per the requirements.

She's pregnant now. I have booked my ticket for end August. Will there be any trouble later when I decide to bring my wife & child to Canada. Do I need to inform this to CIC. Please suggest.

Thank you.

There is nothing to inform them about. The child is not born.

You do realise that if you put your wife as unaccompaning in your application you can't just bring her to Canada after some time? You have to sponsor her through Family Sponsorship and it takes more than 6 months.

Hi

Provided the child is born AFTER you land, there is no issue. If the child is born before you land, she or he must be added to the app.

Thank you for the replies.

We are planning to have the baby delivered in India, since my wife has to stay back here anyway.

But later when I want to bring them to Canada, how should I proceed?
