Parang ang mahal ng quote. Kasama na yan ang stopover and connecting flights? Saan and anong airline? Nakita namin sa Cathay Pacific, may exclusive fares for student permit and work permit holders. Check nyo website. I think if may connecting to saskatchewan cheaper pa din compared sa quote. you just need to present daw your permit upon check-in based sa website nila.
Mahal nga tlga... walang stop over diretso na sa Vancouver... try co yang Cathay Pacific.. balitaan kita... Thanks!

Good Morning Po!

I am planning to go to canada po under student visa program. I am public elementary school teacher for almost 11 years. I am 33 years old and married without siblings. ito po mga tanong ko. Sana po masagot.

1. about po sa proof of funds. ok lang po ba ung 984k pesos na proof of funds na gagmitin na pambayad sa 1 year tuition fee at allowance ko po?or kulang pa po? Hindi po kaya magkaroon ng problema?

* MALE
* 11 years public elementary school teacher
* 33 years old
* never pa po akong bumiyahe abroad (so wla pa pong tatak passport ko)
* graduate po ako ng caregiving course with NC II
* wala po work ang wife ko
* about po sa funds ano po best way kung saan po nakuha yon? kasi hhiramin ko lang din po yung perang gagamitin ko po.

Maraming salamat po sa mga sasagot.

1. Your tuition fee depends on your school and program. Make sure you have at least tuition fee for 1 year (ex. 15,000cad) plus 10,000cad for your living expenses. Then you can also attached other financial docs like business permit, OR/CR, land titles, etc.

2. I'm not sure about the age limit.

3. In my case, I hired a consultant. But you can apply without hiring one. Research and forums like this would be enough.

4. Usually colleges require IELTS. But some colleges accept English as Medium of Instruction Certificate. This can be obtained in your school where you attended College. With regard to bandscore requirements, it also depends on the school and the program you'll take. You can check the school website on their language requirement. Usually if your taking diploma program, they require 5.5-6.0 and for PG cert 6.0-6.5.

5. You can work part time (20hrs/week) whatever school and province you'll choose.

6. In my opinion, if you can relate business program in your work experience or degree you've earned here in the Philippines, you have more chance of approval than applying for PSW. Take note you can choose any program you want as long as you can prove the relevance of it to your work experience OR degree in the PH.

7. Study Plan is critical in your application. This will be very helpful for you to convince the VO. You can do research about the format/outline in the web.

- Many says without travel abroad ALONE would not be a ground for refusal.

- Again, in my opinion, your CG NC II would be irrelevant in your application. Given the 11 years you had as a public school teacher.

Medyo nacoconfuse pa po ako dahil mukhang bago na yung online tracking nila compared to those I've seen posted here sa group.

I received passport request but my status says na nirereview pa nila additional documents ko and nirereview nila whether I meet eligibility requirements.

I'm quite unsure on this dahil 4 weeks palang po ang application ko and I already got this update. Parang ang bilis po?

Don't want to jinx anything but should I be worried?

Please see my application status below. Pls note that they already provided me the request letter to send my passport to VAC.

Yes, looks like they changed it na nga because mine was also different from the others posted here. I got the CIC email requesting for my passport. When I checked CIC, it appeared sa final decision na approved and that you have to send the valid passport. Once ma submit mo ang passport mo sa VFS, and once the visa office checks the validity of your passport, under Final Decision, it will change na to Approved. :) Congratulations!
