Congratulations. How long did they take to return your passport to VFS?

But on the website for E-visa for turkey says if you have valid visa or permanent residence of UK, USA, schengen countries or Ireland. Canada is not mentioned.

Backoffice pilot project files r nothing new. Lots of sept 2016 onwards applicants have noted this in their notes includong myself. We assume it is some new processing thing lvo is experimenting with. In simple terms ur file is like a lab rat.. noone knoes wat experiments evil visa officers r gonna do on it.. lool
On a serious note, there is nothing evil about anything. Its all luck and waiting game. Ur notes show nothing out of the

Hi ....I have the same things on my notes which I received few weeks ago.....it says London case analyst in front of GROUPS.......Until start of May they didn't do anything on the file. There were some comments made on the last pages of the notes regarding sponsor information but i guess it happened in November ...I applied on 7 November 2016 but my file reached London visa office in march 2017 ....one more thing I noticed is that my file was held for BACK OFFICE. Don't know what is it about but I hope they start working soon on all the remaining files

It is mentioned in the background of odc that " not valid for travel " ? what does that mean ? its kind a back ground image on that document . I guess they are trying to say that it is not used as passport . as visa is on the passport but just got confused with this background image on coppr doc .

Yea even i have that watermark. Relax i think its nothinh to worry about. Maybe it means that copr alone is not enough to let u travel.. u surely need a visa on ur pp for that.

Hi,

Yes it means you cannot use this as visa. Either you have to have visa on your passport (One time Entry only) or u must have your PR card with you.

Got DM on ecas on 8th June. Still no sign of PPR.
It's so frustrating. Anybody got an idea how long would it take?

It seems they excluded Canada from the list.. Previously Canadian Visitors/PRs/Work permit holders/Students were eligible for Turkish E-Visa.

Mine is the same .....they have not started anything ..I guess they will do everything together when they open the file .For now let's pray they start working on the remaining files soon.

I am not sure what to make out form the discussion between your MP and CIC officer, however mine also changed today to following.
Review of additional documents : We do not need additional documents.

Earlier it was saying "We need additional documents". So I won't worry about it.

They have updated this application couple of week ago, and this discrepancy must be the result of this upgrade.
These updates/upgrades never goes smooth (even in CIC) , talking from experience

Mine gckey is still showing that we need additional documents to process your application but there is no actual message .I think its gonna be like that until they actually ask for anything .

@ahsenshah COPR date was 9th June.

Any idea what is the amount that we need to fill out in the declaration card when landing the first time? Is it the value of all the goods with you since it is the first time landing? I know we won't be charged duty on the goods but good to declare everything?
