Agent Problem - advice needed

Hi I was hoping someone could help my girlfriend and I. my girlfriend is from china we met at university and now she's on PGWP that expires in February. she was dealing with an agent who got her the PGWP and helped her with the study permit etc.

She was in the process of trying to get PR through the provincial nomination program because she has a masters degree. However it hasn't really gone anywhere and I'm very skeptical of her agent. So now we are in the process of applying for PR through the spousal because we are common law and qualify. Because I am very skeptical of her before i send her all my personal information such as notice of assessment etc I asked her if she was an authorized paid representative or a lawyer paralegal or in good standing with the immigration consultants of Canada. She then got very mad at my girlfriend saying that she had helped her before and why can't we just trust her. Needless to say doesn't seem like she is any of those things. So my question is can she affect the process for us in anyway? also does applying through the Ontario provincial program have any impact on our ability to apply through spousal sponsorship? Finally my girlfriend had issued a bank draft for 1500 to the Ontario provincial government which hasn't been cashed. Can we cancel that draft without any problems? Would that affect our spousal sponsorship?

I suggest you change rep my and my husband rep is a register immigration consultant and she is good no she will not effect your case I suggest you called the immigration consultant to see if she's register

Any reputable agent would not be insulted by that question. If she is not the authorized representative on your application then she cannot access your information.
