my wife got her PPR :D
CIC started working on her part of the application on 9th March and today after 3 months we got PPR :D
Wwwwaaattt??? :O wow. Congrats MA :)
When did u file the application initially to cpc mississauga?

Got COPR Alhamdulillah today. Admin pls update spreadsheet :)

MyCIC says "action required" but I don't see any messages or updates. :(
I think after the glitch in the system over the weekend u can now email cic or have ur sponsor call the agent about it. I have a hunch that its a glitch of the system though. But better to be safe than sorry :)

Good Afternoon all,

Please I need urgent help/guidance in my situation.

I submitted my wife’s spousal sponsorship on April 5th. We are a nikkah case only, with plans of doing rukhsati when papers are completed and done.

The submission came back to my home address on May 4th stating that I am missing my spouse’s birth certificate. In our haste we submitted the original “B” form issued from Nadra and its translation. Hence, the application was returned. I have since then arranged for my wife’s original birth certificate with its English translation and attestation via FedEx on June 1st. The documents were at Canada customs pending review and now while asking for update from the customs officer they notified me that they have been “seized” and passed to Canada immigration. They hinted that they (Canada Immigration) would have electronic copy of all my documentations so just keep an eye on a letter in the mail………I am fearing the worst here as most of you can imagine……

My dilemma is; what does “seized” mean? They returned my original documentation and files via mail to me already so what would they be assessing now? I don’t have a unique identifier as my application was never processed so I can’t even call the help line for assistance.

Can anyone please direct me with some guidance as what I should do? Did I mess up?

I didn’t use a lawyer for the submission .

Thank you for reading.

January applicant!!!!! Congrats MA!!
LVO is so unpredictable.

So my MP said that the officer wants to ask for additional documents from us hence we are seeing that status for 7 days but they haven't made up their mind about which document to ask

Yes, I filed it via CPC MIssissauga at 7th January. They forwarded the application around 17th February. We got medical request in mid-febraury and CIC started working on her application on March 9th

Those of u who are worried about not getting ppr after dm pls stop doing sk. Im 99.99% sure dm means case finalixed and u never get a dm without interview if ur case is a complicated one. A DM on ecas without an interview means u r done IA. So as per my observations on forum, i have seen that the timeline between dm and ppr ranges from 1 day to one month even. Hence hang in there. Ppr is on the way :)
Also u can try sending lvo an email for the ppr. Maybe that can speed up the process :)

But this way is going too long now... :( its almost a week of decision made and still no PPR..o_O

Ok so first things first.
The sponsor always had UCI. Call cic agent and ask them for it if sponsor doesnot have it.
2) after sponsor has UCI, i wid suggest u drop cpc mississauga an email explaining ur dilemma and how ur paper has been siezed etc. Maybe they an guide u on the way forward.
3) if all else fails involve the local MP of the sponsor's area. Ask him to give CPC sauga a call and seek clarification on whats the issue and whether they have receieved any docs from the customs peeps.

Wat??? How wierd. Looks like they are just playing around.. :o
