There is probably no link, but we can only speculate what is causing this error and why taking so long to fix.

My status say that they needed additional documents has corrected itself now :)
Mine is still the same . " we need additional documents "

can someone help me to give cic contact number ? I have no idea about my file other than medicals passed in april. aor jan 31st. pnp inland

Guys,
Has anyone done landing at Etobicoke visa office (Toronto)?
Doea anyone know whats a waiting time for an appointment if am planning for inland landing?
Also i dont have any address proof other than phone bill and bank statement. Do i nees to show anything else as address proof while landing?
Please suggest

I mean that this message has some meaning its not just a meaningless bug. It could be an indication that the application is under-going additional checks/verification
Yeah but it doesn't says they are undergoing additional checks or verification.... It just says we need additional documents to process your application

It's still showing they need documents, agents can't fix it, tech issue
Thanks friend,

But atleast we know now that it is a glitch coz I was still worried why it shows they need additional documents when actually there was no column or placeholder or CIC message

I called on that today and the agent said it's a bug.
But what I think is; it's there for all those who had been requested to submit docs and will be there until they have looked into the document. For instance, I uploaded the RCMP CHECK and they are yet to touch it.
I think it will change as soon as they touch the uploaded document. Just my thought.
In fact, IRCC has acknowledged on their site now that the "additional documents needed " is an error.
Can you please send the link to see this thing where they mentioned its an error

Hi everyone! I'm new here. Do you know how long can I get ppr after I summited the RCMP? It has been almost one month. This long wait really kills me!
By the way, my AOR is 26 Jan, CEC outland stream.
Thank you!

Hi All,
I've been reading this thread for a really long time but never replied. I want to thank you all for your support and your insight; your posts are really helpful and thought-relieving.

I just received the Golden Email yesterday, so I want to share a little bit of timeline with all of you.

I'm a BC PNP-Nominated Applicant (In-land), and I submitted my application on December 15, 2016. My AOR is Dec 16, 2016.

I received a request for additional documents on Mar 6, 2017, and I note that my medical passed at the same time. The additional document requested was my IELTS test result, which I made another submission on the same day.

I then waited for almost another two months to see my BG turn into IP2, and it turned into BG IP2 last week.

This Wednesday, I note that there is a new line, biometrics, stating "We do not need your fingerprints."

On June 8, 2017, I received my golden email.

Thank you all for your support and everything.

Best to you all!
Congratulations

I dropped an email yesterday night(IST) to Ottawa and they said my application is at CIO, NS, Canada.

Does this mean I have a long way to go, considering that it is not yet transferred to LVO?

AOR - Jan 31
BGC - NA (since Apr 20)
PNP - Outland

I am seriously getting depressed now :(:(:(
