Around 2 weeks ago I got an ITA. The thing is – I am in long-distance relationship with a girl from another country for two and a half years. She didn’t do her IELTS, or ECA. We are not eligible for common law partners status (we spent in total less than 12 months together). If I add her to my profile as common law partner/spouse our profile have less points than the cut-off score of the ROI when ITA was issued.

In future we plan to do sponsorship and I was thinking to mention my relationship status in my Letter of explanation, together with amount of days we spent together. Reason: I was thinking it can be easier later when we do sponsorship.

My question is: does anyone knows whether this may affect my application in negative way by any chance?

No, do not mention it, you are neither married nor in common law, you are wasting time by telling IRCC about your situation.

You don't think that it may affect sponsorship in future? Because it will be difficult to explain why we didn't mention anything at the moment of application

Again, mentioning you have a girlfriend is irrelevant.

You are single, period.

Hi Delpeiro07,
Recently I received an ITA for CEC inland and I am married boy with non accompanying status in EXpress entry. Now CIC is asking for my wife PCC and medical. I got my wife PCC and for medical, Hospital is asking for some thing from CIC to know that She needs to get medical exam for Immigration. Now the question is what My wife should take to hospital in order to get her medical exam. Please reply those who experience same...much appreciated.

What do you think about my situation mentioned above? May my application (future sponsorship) be affected by the fact of mentioning my gf in a letter of explanation.

Speaking of your situation, I reckon that IRCC should have told you whether your wife should complete upfront medical exam or provide you with IMM1017 form.

A friend of mine provided his spouse's letter of invitation and their marriage certificate.

Even so, she should tell them that she requires an upfront medical and that she won't get anything under her name from IRCC in order to do the medicals.
