Ok, we finally got the COPR yesterday! The wait is over.
PPR was sent to us on May 17. Sent everything the next day by email - scan of passport, PDF of Fedex prepaid shipping label, address confirmation. They sat on it for almost 3 weeks before sending back the COPR with all the photos and notarized statutory declarations that we submitted to prove common-law. By the way our outland application was submitted while spouse was out of status in Canada, and never left.
Total processing time - 10 months.
Congrats!!! Which country was it for?

So lucky. It seems for dominican it is a slower process. Hope it is within 10 months like yours.

I finally got the notes today, bit confusing tho. 45 pages in total.

I could not find about the interview, it only say language and if interpreter requested but nothing saying we will need one.

I also find out that when they requested the first set of fingerprints they meant to request the RCMP, I don't know how the lawyer didn't catch that, so we lost a month by just sending the FP. As for eligibility is not started and also they haven't started the security. The criminality is in progress and that is stuck because we haven't send the PCC, thanks to UPS for misplacing the PRG certificates. Husband reapply for the PGR and should be ready by June 15, long double waiting time.

there is one part that concerns me a lot and i don't understand

The officer point to all the evidence we sent, communication, financial support, photos, trips etc, i don't know if they are satisfied tho.
On the comments they just write: big age difference 21, children together-SPR pregnant, ARC maybe required... plus representative e-mail info and the last documents the requested (PC from Mexico (PGR)-RCMP-RPRF-IRB and original passport photos for CoRP 120 days to comply with request.

Lots of blank spaces. o_O

The undertaking is how many months you are financially responsible for him for. So I'm guessing they are saying you have 36 months from the time he comes to Canada.

Undertaking Length (months): 36 ???

Can anyone tell me what will take 36 months? the whole application?

Undertaking length - is the 'contract' the sponsor makes with the government promising to support the applicant financially for 3 years - 36 months. Nothing to do with the progress of your application.

If anything confusing - ask, I ordered 3 sets of the notes and went over every detail there.

Interesting. Good to know what kind of information they have in the notes. Hopefully ordering the notes gives them a little push to work harder on your app. Thanks for posting.

I know, is really hard living apart, we've been just two month and few days since the last date we saw each other and i won't be able to travel in the next 6 months. I try to be in communication with husband all the time, plus this pregnancy thing has kept me busy, but still is really hard. so I agree with you... Love make us have patience!!
