Yeah but look at the bottom -

3502 423 June 3, 2017 at 22:57:12 Still in the pool << how can this guy still be in the pool @ 423 when people with scores of 422 which is 1 point BELOW him got picked??
That's a mistake. :D:D:D

They should correct it, as it confuses people.

Yes
Re-Create = Withdraw and then Create.

So, they say this about it:

Note, if you update your profile, the system will keep the original date and time stamp when you first submitted your profile. But, your profile will have a new time and date stamp if:
  • you choose to withdraw your profile and create a new one instead or
  • your profile expires and you submit a new one

In other words, those of us, like me, who recreated their profiles will be given less priority over those who didn't, and are sitten on the same CRS Score.
Yeah, I have read it now when you provided link. I am not sure what to think of this? In their example on the page, a difference between 1 hour in creation of the profile has a result will you get ITA or not!

They did this because a lot of people were declining ITA for some reason and they were sick of that, at least this is what I think.

I thought it was a mistake LOL! I was like how on earth can someone with a higher score than the cut off still be in the pool when people with lower scores got picked! They need to get this updated because this is going to confuse many many people! I totally understand the graph until that last guy with 423 has been left behind lol

Yes
You're confused.
Higher CRS Score always has priority, only when the CRS Score is the same the date of creation comes to take part of the selection.

Please check again and you'll be able to see that Higher CRS gets the win. :D

Edit: There's indeed a mistake in the help section of CIC, maybe they make the correction later.
Remember these are human beings. ;)
No, I think they did correct. You can see that no matter that one has 423 his profile is the youngest and therefore he still remains in the pool.

:D:D:D This reminded me an old reddit joke that goes like: "Whenever I get a stack of resumes, I throw half of them in the trash. I sure don't want unlucky people on my team."

But regardless of if he has the youngest profile or not he still has a HIGHER score than the cut off.. It's like saying people who created their profile a year ago with a score of 400 then I come in 6 months later with a score of 401 and there is a draw for 401.. What so i do not get picked? Just because of people who may of been in the pool longer than me but also have a lower score..? It is a mistake on their website if you look at the chart is also clearly says at the top of the graph...

New approach to rank candidates with the same CRS score

key word here being SAME.. 422 and 423 is not the same

this must be an error

No one knows now especially if they have stated their changes made today may not go fully into affect on all profiles for two weeks.. Meaning a draw may not be this week or next week.. Hoping this will not be the case of course!

Confusion regarding CRS Tie:

In Past CIC used to issue ITA's to everyone with threshold scores or above that is if they want to issue 3,600 ITA they have to issue 200 more ITA's because of 1 Point.

So new rule says if CIC wants 3,600 ITA's to be issued at let's say 407 then everyone above 407 will be selected. Assuming there are 300 Candidates in 407 but remaining ITA's are only 50 then the candidates ranked at the top 50 (ranked firstly be Date and then time) will be selected.

So, that may mean CIC wants to save ITA's for the future but we will know the real thing in the next draw instructions.

One more thing to see in future will be, that if Provinces changes their way of looking at profiles.

Yes this makes sense to me but the chart uploaded CIC's website does not.. Because the profile which had 423 points remained in the pool when others with a score of 422 (1 point less) were picked.. So is this an error on their part?
