While Express Entry applicants are expected to get their PR within 6 Months, they actually get it within 90 Days now.

How come QSW applicants are still suffering from such a long waiting time...??
That's the million dollar question , For federal same set of parameters should be followed but see we are being relegated on back burner , to my surprise i know a person ,in-land , who got PR straight in 45 days .I have few of my colleagues who applied under erstwhile FSW / CEC category 2 years back (before EE started) and i know their fate they have wait for 1.5-2 years ... i hope and wish that QSW federal folks are not on that path....

Even in the Saskatchewan, the SINP (occupation in demand)only needs less than 6 months in the Federal step. Maybe we have the slowest Provincial Nominee Program.
I don't think it has anything to do with Province ... once you are at federal stage .... this definitely looks to be case of some programs are given higher priority over others ....

For getting the skilled worker, It seems that Quebec has the slowest speed than other provinces. I saw many of my friends choose Saskatchewan even they got the CSQ. they often apply two or several Provincial Nominee Program at the same time. But at last, they have had the PR when Quebec CSQ is still in federal office.

Yeah if you are comparing provincial programs then Quebec is slowest but that lead or lag of provincial time frame shouldn't exist at federal stage that was my assumption seems i was wrong :-(

This definitely is the question for your local MP who is the PM: Why QSW needs such a long long time to process at the Federal Stage??
We only need equal or at least fair attention and treatment from the Federal!! Is this so difficult for them to do??

Check your processing times and try to raise notes ... they call it GCMS... it takes about a month to receive them.
This is not normal though.

thank you v-sanhot,
I will request GCMS

However I was asked to pay RPRF on January 10th. But no Medical request before or after.
Hi taemee,
could you please write your timeline and visa office please because I have the same problem.
