Visitor visa expires

I sent in the perment residency application may 5, it was delivered by may 16. How long will it take to get a confermation email that they have started to process the application. Also the visitor visa expires June 29, what if I haven't heard any news from cic, can I stay?? Is this still concidered implied statues, even if they haven't started to process the application

Did you apply inland? Did you include an OWP with the application package? If so, you have implied status.

It is inland, and yes we applied for an open work permit. I'm new on this forum, I'm just curious as who can answer these questions, basically how trustworthy are the answers. I read somewhere that it can take around 21 days from the time it was delivered to the time they send you an email that your application has been started

When you applied for your extension, did you do it online? I think those get confirmation a lot faster. There is an extension/work permit included in the PR application that was sent snail mail

i applied for super-visa extension. Yes, online.
