Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi, ako may ganyang reason s refusal. I'm working in SG, with valid work pass. Hindi lang sa akin may ganong refusal, its the same with 2 more pinoys n nag-apply dito sa SG Visa Office. Same work status namin. We included a copy of our permit sa application, pero not satisfied p rin.

Meron naman kaming kasabay n pinoy, permanent resident dito, refuse din sila pero hindi kasama sa refusal yang reason n yan.

Based sa research namin, hindi kasama sa priority ng SG Visa Office ang mga Pinoy, unless PR dito. According to this site:

Pero nag-email ako sa SG Visa Office for clarification, eto sabi nila..

"If you are a legal resident of Singapore (i.e. the government of Singapore sees you as a legal resident in their country and you are not residing in Singapore illegally), then you are eligible to have your study permit application processed at our Singapore office."

Ang gulo lang. Kaya nag re-apply ako, diretso na sa PH Visa Office, para maiwasan yang refusal factor n yan.

You can try to search for Dubai or Abu Dhabi Office from CIC website or email mo rin sila for clarification. Hope this helps.

Hi po! thank u so much po sa sagot nyo. Ask ko lang po if registered ba kayo sa OWWA? kasi hindi pa ko registered dito sa abu dhabi. Feeling ko un ang problema. Pero more than 2yrs na ko nag wowork dito.

Nasa SG p rin ako, working. Online app ako, then sa IMM 1294 Question 9, "Country where applying">> Same country as residence: NO >> then choose Philippines. Pag nag generate ng barcode yun, it will be for pinas.

Almost 10 yrs n ko OFW , registered n ko matagal na. Hindi ako sigurado jan pero in my opinion, hindi connected ang CIC at OWWA.

Para makasigurado ka, email them to confirm if ur eligible to apply. Better, request for Caips notes as early as possible.

Kailangan ba malaki ang baon na pera pagdating sa Canada? Or pwede ba na ipa-wire transfer na lang yung pera para mas safe? Ano po ba yung mas maganda na gawin? Baka kasi magkaproblema sa immigration pag maliit lang yung dala. Magkano ba dapat yung baon na cash? Hehe thanks

I opened a BMO account while still in the PH. If you want to wire the money so that you can use your money asap(unlike the holding period of a bank draft) $14 CAD flat rate if USD yung money mo + $10 USD from BDO(if that's your bank). Don't forget to declare at the border of Canada your money (if more than 10,000 CAD (so be mindful of your 10,000 USD and below, check the exchange rate.) They won't charge you anything as long as you declare your money, so don't be afraid.

Pwede din ba ako mag apply dito sa abu dhabi pero naka address sa pinas ang application ko online??? alam ko kc may mga gumawa ng ganun pero sinend back pa din dito sa abu dhabi ang application nila so ang nag review pa din is ung VO dito sa uae..

Dahil malapit lang ang SG, sinabay ko n pagkuha ng NBi ko s bakasyon ko sa pinas. Upfront ko binigay ang NBI clearance at SG police clearance para wala ng request for additional docs. Medical done na din, dito ako sa SG nagpamedical, even if CIC website said na hindi required. Ayoko lang ng delay.

You can try what peej suggested. Sa amin dito s SG, u cannot get NBI clearance from PH embassy, but they can take ur rolled fingerprint and prepare SPA para sa representative mo s pinas.

I will do the same sa pag lodge ng application ko. Currently here in Qatar but will opt MVO sa online application. Mag upfront medical ako pag uwi then kukuha na din ng NBI.

Alam ko po si Dolly at isa pa ang taga dito sa uae na nag apply pero sa pinas ang nilagay nila san cla mag apply. Di ko po alam anu na ngyare
