Hi everybody! I am new to this forum, but it's very helpful, happy to find you guys. I have a question.
I am Russian but live in Canada on my post graduate work permit. Applied Outland. Application went to CPC-Ottawa.
My timeline:
January 31 application has been received by CIC
February 21 received AOR1
February 27 SA received and sent to visa office in Ottawa.
After that it has been quite till now. Did not recieve AOR2 even.
Do you think I should worry by now? Maybe I need to call Ottawa office to ask if they received my application?

P.S. I applied through lawyer. So I cannot see my application online. He said he will send me an email if there is any uppdates. So far no any news just those two emails. AOR1 and SA. When I ask questions he says just wait. :(

Thank you so much for your advice I will do it right now. Just one thing, my lawyer mentioned that he requested all updates come straight to him. He said not to check status on CIC website. If I will check via ECAS, my lawyer still will keep getting updates after? I don't want to mess up the way he set everything up, so he won't miss next email from CIC.

Don't worry. ECAS is different than myCIC. Try ECAS. Use the sponsor's information.

It says Decision Made on which side? Sponsor or PR? Or both? If it's both then congratulations!!

It says decision made on both sides. Sponsor and applicant. Oh God, I can not believe that. I have been thinking about it every single day and just was stressing myself more and more. 3 more questions to you if you don't mind.
1.Do you know how long it's usually takes for them to send an actually email about decision made after you can see it online? And this website show same what CIC would show?
2. How long to wait till the next step after DM? And what this step would be?
3. Does it mean that they no longer going to request any other documents apart from my passport?

1. You don't have a baseline from when you had that DM, so it's hard to say right now. Usually it takes days to a month to receive the PPR from DM status. Are you an Ottawa applicant? If yes, are you a US citizen?

MYCIC and ECAS are somehow similar. Although, MYCIC shows your background check status and if you pass the medical while ECAS does not. DM on ECAS means Approved on MYCIC.

2. Sending the PPR documents will be the next step after you receive the PPR.

3. Aside from PPR documents, nothing else.

I am Russian citizen. Yes, they sent my application to CPC-Ottawa.
So DM on MYCIC means approved or decision made as well? And is there any difference between these two?
I am so sorry for asking so many questions, because I don't know much about all these wording and rules.
I want to say big thanks to you once again, so far you been the most helpful person for me.
How about your application. When did you apply? Any good news yet?
