about work permit

Hello,
I just completed my graduation and i want to apply for work permit.My wife is with me and she is on my dependent(work permit).shall i apply to gather for work permit?if yes than what's the step for it?please guide me.

Your wife cannot apply for a new work permit until you have a full time job that is NOC A, B or 0 and have started working full time in that job (and can provide pay slips).

you can apply for pgwp. as for your wife, i'm not knowledgeable about spousal work permits. sorry.

Hey Scylla,

I was working full time from April 2016 to October 2017 and then took a small contract job for 40 hours per week between October 2017 and December 2017.

Now I just started my own business. I have a couple of clients with valid contract from US.

I applied open work permit for my spouse. and got rejected.
The reason was there was no proof that I had a job with the appropriate NOC category.

I am planning to get reapply with a letter from my previous companies and my incorporation documents with my new company and my roles with it.

Do you think this will help? Please let me know your suggestions.
