hi guys
We did apply thru nominee program since 2014 and right now we witing for final decision as we did medical exam last June /2016 which been year from now , I did call Cic about our file and they sayed they still witing for back ground check , which already pass the limit time as 16 months maximum , and they knew already we pass the time period , my concern is the back ground has no limit or what?
Any idea can help please

Background check shouldn't take that long... a year is so long.... r u sure that they haven't asked any kind of additional documents after u done medical.... u might have missed email or letter... if ur sure about that then according to me go to ur local MP if ur inland applicant he/she might b able to help u in asking cic what's the matter why they r taking too long...good luck

They send us an email for addition information five months after medical exam done and we send them back witin a week , since last November we didn't hear any thing
