I have just submitted all required materials and application fee. I guess nowadays they are processing very fast, that is why I got it quickly
Did you need to submit police clearance certificate and medical report for OINP processing?

No police certificates and medicals for OINP, they will be needed for post ITA application, but I suggest to get them done if you expect ITA soon as they take time

Thanks Jo.
I live in Adelaide now. But have lived in Victoria for the past 6 years. I saw on the CIC website that if I have ever lived in VIC then I need to provide a clearance from VicRoads. So, my question is, do I get the VicRoads clearance first then get the federal police clearance or can I apply for both simultaneously?
What made you apply for Canada when you are in Australia already? you can get OZ PR easily having OZ experience, if you dont have it already.. It's equally good IMO.

Hello I am in great confusion please help

Date XYZ first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

I am claiming points under NOC 4031 and it requires bachelors but I recently completed my bachelors. My 2 yrs bachelors and 2 yrs masters combinely gives me 4 yrs bachelors in my ECA. I started working when I completed 2 yrs bachelors only which ECA states as 2 yr diploma. So can I claim points for my work experience? Please help

my occupation is not in the skilled occupation list for oz. have been doing one masters after the other just trying to buy time here. its been 6 years in oz for me and still no luck with finding an employer who is willing to sponsor. my best bet is canada now.

I can't blame Canada for wanting younger folks. I just need to do everything in my power to increase my score rather than depending on the score to drop due to fewer high scoring candidates.

Some of us have already done everything in our power to increase our scores (Masters degree and CLB10). Now waiting for a magic pill that'll make us a few years younger ;)

I had spoken with my consultant on 17th they were telling CIC has some plans for a draw in 2 to 3 days.
