Dear legalfalcon,

According to my notes, which i received today, there is one alarming thing: Under security, which obviously is reacted by virtue of s15, i have another sub-activity with the name of security screening going on. In activities section, this sub-activity has three entries (all redacted) along with the usual security stuff.
Can you please explain is this really routine or something serious.

I have googled it and found very few cases with this sort of security check, and those who have it in their notes have been wating or had to wait for a year before they got hold of the PPR.

Secondly, my wife's security is still not started.

Thirdly, although, me and my wife''s info sharing with USA came back with an NRT in January, CIC again started it in april. Status was submit -delayed and then cancelled. This time, since my newborn son was also added in the application, this activity was triggered for all three of us.

A new addition in my notes is that of a section called online with 'online Activity history' and 'online properties' in it.

Another new addition compared to my last notes is in 'other reqs' section where ''A39-A41: 0'' is added.

Lastly, my eligibility has been converted to 'passed' from the initial recommended pass, but the officer at one point said: ''employment documents reviewed but not verified'. Another thing is that this note by visa officer is considerably short (as compared to what i have seen on this forum where this is usually the longest note in the entire GCMS).

Can you please look into my notes. I have mailed the file an an attachment. I will really appreciate your opinion on above issues.

Pls can someone tell me which stage I'm? Or any time scale how long does it take to final decision PPR.

If you have withdrawn, nothing to be concerned about. Since your application did not even start processing, it will take some time to be closed. Since you have voluntarily withdrawn your application, they cannot process it or make a decision in it.

Previously in 2013, I was looking to move to a different job then I got a offer from a company and they applied for my visa transfer.During the process, USCIS requested more information from the company which the company did not provide and the application was rejected. In the meantime, I got a better offer and transferred to that company.

Do I need to disclose the application rejection in my application?

I am having second thoughts on my NOC code after submitting my e-APR. Yes, correct!!! So I am a recruitment consultant with a recruitment firm with 2+ years of experience. I help clients(prospective employers) find the right talent and place candidates. Now is NOC 1223 - HR & Recruitment officer the right NOC (which I selected) or NOC 4156 - Employment counsellor.
The duties in both seem to overlap in what i do.

I am super confused now!!

Any view would be appreciated.

Not an issue with what you have selected. When the duties in NOC overlap deference will be given to the NOC you have chosen when the duties on your work reference letters reflects similarity.

No, this is not required, only visa rejections count, which in this case not.

If it was a short trip for 2 weeks and you have mentioned it in trade history, there is no need to add it in the address history. Address history is only for those addresses which you moved to and made as your primary home. When you travelled to the US, you were still a resident of your address in your home country. Legally, this is referred to as domicile, so you were a domicile of your home country.

Dont know if its is a valid query. What would be the scenario if some one receives an ITA on his birthday with just making the cut off, will he be considered and qualified to receive that invitation or not since he will lose points for age from that day.

Hello Legal falcon,
I received my ITA and I am gathering documentation to submit. I have a question regarding bank statements. I
am trying to submit 6 months bank statements.
I accumulated required funds from my bonus, paychecks and gifted amount from my mom. But in previous bank statements

I have few transactions from my cousin and friend for about 1000$ and 2500$ . Due to an emergency I sent that money to India through Xoom.
I returned 2500$ to my friend in April.

My cousin have to give money to my parents so she gave me here in cash. I deposited that amount and transferred to India , hence I dont have return transaction as returning money to my cousin.

My cousin ( husband's sister) also transferred me 3000$ to pay for my husband's H1 visa in USA ( she transfrred to my 2nd bank account and I withdrew and deposited in my primary bank account and then paid to the employer who filed H1).

Questions:
1. Do we need to mandatorily submit 6 months bank statements

2. As above mentioned transactions do not count towards my proof of funds and I transferred those amounts to respective people ( My POF is my bonus and gift amount form parents), should we worry about them?

3. As they are above 1000$ , will they trigger suspicion and will they be a problem ? Do I need to voluntarily mention about them in LOE.
