Hello,

For submitting the passport after u get passport request letter, what would be the main difference between going through a visa application center and couriering directly through aramex to the visa office?

VAC takes ur money n sends to VO anyways correct?

also, do we have to use only aramex? or can we use any company?

cic website says:
Submit your passport at the visa office

Mail In

To submit by mail or courier, you must include your passport, a copy of the request letter, as well as a self-addressed Aramex pre-paid return airway bill OR a self-addressed (C4 or C5 sized) envelope with the following information clearly typed or written:

  • Your complete name
  • Your complete physical address (NO P.O. BOX)
  • Your phone number (country code + area code + phone number)
  • Alternative contact information (country code + area code + phone number), if applicable.
Failure to do so will result in a delay in processing your application.

You have only two options for submitting your passport to the Abu Dhabi visa office: Either submit it to VFS/VAC or mail it through Aramex to the visa office.

For the Mail In option, only Aramex has been mentioned (which has been approved by IRCC). So, don't use a different courier/mail service. If your passport is lost/misplaced then you cannot hold the Abu Dhabi visa office responsible for it

right, however I guess my question is what is the difference between us submitting through vfs or submitting directly through aramex to abu dhabi?
doesn't the vfs do exactly the same thing?

I don't know what answer you want.

IRCC specifications are quite clear:
Either you submit the passport yourself through Aramex to the Abu Dhabi visa office.... or you pay VFS to transmit your passport to/from the visa office for you
