Hi guys! Finally a hopeful contender for the upcoming draw, InshaAllah.

Just a quick question though: Does the required funds amount has to be maintained for a period of three or six months before filing the application or it does not matter if it reaches the required level a week before filing the application? Considering I get an ITA in the next draw, I plan to reach the required amount by end of July followed by filing of the application in August. Would this be fine or should I opt out of ITAs at the moment and maintain my funds for a few months then accept an ITA, let's say in September?

Thanks!

If your statement shows a sudden large transaction within this 6 months, you'd need to show proof of the money is actually yours and you are going to take it with you while arrive in Canada. if you can prove that you can create your profile anytime.

Hi guys!
Good to see the thread again getting very active. By the way, has anyone who received the noi recently applied? Or considering to apply anytime soon?

No worries regarding the funds transfer as all credits in my account will be salary transfers and that too the same salary amount every month.

Considering the last draw score and the number of new camdidates joining the pool,we may experience a transient rise in the draw score. We need to put into consideration the new changes, that will be effected from June 6.
I have just created a new profile with spouse unaccompanied, so as to secure ITA,wait awhile to monitor the trend . if it keeps reducing I may decline my ita and reenter the pool with spouse accompanied.
What's your opinions pls?

I would not do that, because you might feel tempted to accept the ITA without your spouse. And, if you do that you'll have to wait a long time after you get to Canada (more than a year) to sponsor her later.
These long waits can really damage a relationship.
If I was you, I would preffer to secure a NOI from Ontario (if you have more than 400 CRS, or any other province) as a backup plan.
It is only my humble opinion.

What if I am already living in a Canada from last 4 years and I got a PR from express entry, Can I sponsor my wife after getting my PR right away?

I believe the work experience evidence to show once we accept the noi is more extensive than that in Federal ITA. If i'm not incorrect in my understanding then i have to show not just reference letter, but also the pay stubs, income tax statements, work contract, and also a letter showing other allowances beside salary

Yes, it's mind boggling!

Guys Till 390 score will get the ITA within next two months.

I am at 405. Lets see when my turn comes.

I have got NIU from Ontario but havent applied yet.

Any comments would be appreciated

Some of us here have NOIs from Ontario too and we've been debating about what our next step should be. Most forum members agree that it's best to wait and watch for a couple of draws and then make up our mind.

Good luck

I'm not sure. Do you have a work or study visa?
And, is your wife with you in Canada?
I know with a study visa your partner gets a work permit, as long as you're studying (and up to a year later if it is a 1 year study, or up to 3 years later if it is a 2 year study... anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not sure what's the case with work visas.

Thats what it is! To accept or not to accept, that is the question!

I think the best course of action is to wait and see if the CRS cut-off goes up or down in the next couple of draws. We'll get a clearer picture soon.

My worry about applying for OINP is that I won't have all the job-related documents :(

Yes, a lot of us are.
There are some aspects to consider before accepting.
There's the money (CAD$1,500). There's the time (some people told me the wait is nearly 10 months right now, I'm not sure if it's true, but I'm sure it is more than 4 additional months). There's also the papelwork; they really ask for more thning than the federal government to make the nomination (at least for the work experience).

So, if the scores go down, we may be on our way to Canada in 6 to 8 months. If we go throught the PNP, then it will be 12 to 18 months I think.

Bottom line is, it is best to watch the next two draws to have a close idea of what's really going on with the trend right now. If the scores go down, In my opinion, it would be best to wait one or two months to get the ITA directly instead of accepting the NOI. But, in the other hand, if the scores start to go up, then we might have to take the NOI to get a PNP and take the long road.

Actually same is with me. I can come up with pay stubs and reference letters only.

That's the most rational thing we can do right now. Lets hope thre score falls down!
