quick question guys-------------- just got my spousal application returned because of not providing birth certificate of spouse. but i submitted adhar card and 10 th certificate according to country specific requirements. do i need to submit anything else beside that?

Birth Certificate is mandatory !!!

Do you mean start the process of obtaining it? It's recommended you start that process before you even submit your application so that you will have the certificate ready to submit when they request it. Depending on your country, it can take a long time to obtain.

Then they will tell you
If you give sponser details they won't find

Rest i will find out when I receive it
They returned it on 28th april but still waiting to receive returned application

They gave me the same reply when I gave them SP and PA details. I'll keep waiting I guess. I'm sorry to hear that again.

Yes starting the process, i haven't received my application number yet. So i am still waiting to start it. Just curious, how long is the PCC valid for? What are the chances we will have to redo it ?

My husband (Canadian) called CIC today. They said they are working on applications received April 11 and earlier (ours was received April 13). We were able to get our UCI, which will help link accounts in the future - hopefully soon!

But, I believe it's not mandatory. People have submitted without filling it. Let see what they they mean in CSR. Hope you get your application soon.

I called cic today. The agent informed me that the form was sent back last week for lack of documentation.
Although i have hired a lawyer but still his assistant did not submit all the documents properly.
The agent told me the documents missing are travel and identity documents for applicants (in our case my husband and his 2 kids)
I am so sad today.
So how long does it take for the application to come back?
