Finally you got news from them. I believe that is the unofficial AOR2. Were u able to send your PCC upfront? or do you have to wait until they request them?

Yes after almost 8 weeks checking our status everyday, it's kind of a shock to see a change. But I realize that it will happen a few more times like this before the process is over, so I'd better get used to it.

My partner managed to get fingerprints done and use the English forms from the company who we are getting to digitize the fingerprints. He sent them to me and they should be arriving by courier on Monday. I was going to wait and see if we get a request for the PCC, as there is a chance that maybe they won't ask us for the PCC from the RCMP. However, my gut feeling is that they will ask for it and we have been waiting so long already every step, I rather have the report ready when/if the request comes through as it will take a little while to get it back, even though my partner's record is clear.

Does anyone know how long PCC's are good for? We submitted the PCC (Certificado de Antecedentes) from Chile with our application package, and it was issued on November 13, 2016. I thought I read somewhere that it is only good for 6 months. Is this true?

I think is good the you started the RCMP PCC, It takes some time, we waited until they requested them and is probably gonna take long time for us. I regret not getting those beforehand. As for the PCC i think it depends of the country, The Mexican are valid only for one month. I believed RCMP are good for 6months. You can probably ask the office where you got the Chilean PCC.

Ok, thanks! I hope they don't ask for the Chilean PCC again, it's such a hassle to get it translated ... and like you said, it just means adding more processing time.

Hello friends,

We got a new look for the forum! Nice...

I am happy because my husband received his Mexicans PCC today. (It took only 5 days) and we are looking for a place or somebody who can translate that for us, lawyer said it is better to find somebody in Mexico to avoid extra courier fees :(. Does any one know where we can get the certified translation in Monterrey, Mexico?

I will really appreciate if anyone know and can share the info.

Hoping for a fast processing for everyone here.

Thank you in advance..

Hello there, sorry but I think this tread is mainly for spousal/partner sponsorships applications. I haven't seen any post for PGP in this tread.
