just called IRCC today..
I was told that my security check was in progress when I called them approx. 2 weeks ago.
And today, I was told that they are going to start the security check now.
what's more disheartening was that they believe that security check will be completed sometime in the window of July 10th update( NOT EVEN JUNE 10), and there are absolutely NO elements that would accelerate the security check process..
which will be past 16 month since the process began.
I am a Feb 8 2016 applicant...
So.. to all Feb applicants... our time is yet to come... 2 more months till our DMs PPRs.......
I am already losing patience...

NOPE. CIC confirmed that it will be around July 10th update for Feb applicants.. called them today and was told exactly that. May 11, 2017

CIC Call center Information is not much relevant regarding processing time and when your file wil be processed. They give u maximum time line so that u don't call them back. Jan and most of feb applicants should get result by mid of June. All the best guys and Congo to ppl who got DM or PPR
