Hello all,

I have submitted my profile today for express entry. I have done 2 years master program in Canada but I am getting 0 points for studies in Canada. Normally I am supposed to get 432 points according to CRS calculator. Any idea why i am not getting 30 extra points for 'Canadian Education' in my express entry profile ?

Thanks. Please comment

Wait for 24 hours for your score to reflect properly.

I feel you, a lot of folks have been through what you are experiencing. if you do not see an update after 24 hours, you can report a technical issue (you will find this option at the top of your account home page).

All the best

Did you made update to the profile.. if this is an update.. it's known thing and many people faced the issue of points not getting updated immediately. However, it got updated within 24 hrs.

thank you.
I created express entry profile for the first time today. So i guess i am already in updated one (???) ??? ?????
I am having 402 points now (without 30 points that i am waiting for), luckily has been accepted to the pool.

If you created your profile today you should've received the points when submitting your profile.

If such wasn't the case then you made a mistake when answering the education questions.

If you created new profile and points are not reflecting with correct scores, you probably made a mistake. Please cross check

I am sensing you answered yes for question similar to this ->"more than half of study is English"

As far as I know correct answer is NO, If you have to claim 30 points, you have to answer it "No"

Change it to No and check after 2-3 hours, you will see 30 points added, sometimes may take up to 24 hours also

Wow !! !! I changed it No, let's see if anything changes.
TBH, That sentence is so confusing. I still didn't get it what do they mean.

Thanks very much for letting me know

It is asking whether half of your courses were ESL or FSL courses (courses intended for you to learn English or French).

Answer should be "no"

Yes, not only this, so many questions does not make any sense. This EE does not have any set of rules or procedures to know what exactly they mean.

Anyhow, same thing happened to my friend who missed the ITA because he answered YES for that question and his score struck at 440, after the last week draw he called me and I changed it to NO and within 2 hours, profile update to 455 (15 points because of Canadian college diploma)

Because of this ducking confusing question, he missed the draw :(
